Because we design and produce Leoline floors in-house, there is a big involvement in ensuring your cushion vinyl floor is made with care and attention. When you know just what it takes to create a new Leoline floor, from the research for a new design to testing and production, you’ll be amazed to learn that every year our design & production experts are responsible for around 25-30 new designs. That keeps Leoline ahead of the latest home interior trends. So whether you’re hunting for cool concrete or a worn wood, there’s a Leoline floor ready and waiting. It all starts with an authentic material, such as a piece of reclaimed timber, ceramic tile or stone slab; or with a rising trend spotted at an international design fair. From these originals our designers analyse every last detail, recreating imperfections to bring true-to-life designs that can be perfectly translated in comfortable cushion vinyl flooring for your home. Working in parallel, our engineers work intensively to refine function, developing innovations that improve every aspect of the floor. At every layer they are looking for marginal improvements. From easy-to-clean matt finishes for a more authentic look, through to backings that can absorb more noise or boost impact recovery, we believe taking care of the details will always make a better floor. With more than 400 designs across our collections, spanning everything from timeless woods and classic ceramics to modernist terrazzo, there’s care and attention evident in every Leoline floor.

Leoline’s quality cushion vinyl brings an enduring floor ready for the challenges found in today’s busy homes. Super floors are the cream of the crop, offering extremely durable designer floors that feel right at home in the most challenging (and chic) environments. Their premium quality also makes them ideally suited for a wide range of light commercial applications, providing comfort and elegance to the discerning customer who won’t settle for anything less than the absolute best.

Combining into one budget-friendly flooring solution, they have style and efficiency to spare, making them the ideal long-term or temporary companion for practical people who want to keep their decor looking fresh. The aerated, low-weight Smart level ensures optimum resilience, effortless quality and a healthy indoor environment in settings that see normal levels of foot traffic. With our Semi-Contract floors, you can bring the confidence of a floor made for business. Our Semi-Contract floors feature an impressively tough wear layer that’s capable of dealing with the high levels of footfall encountered in these areas. Safe for use with castor chairs, they are office ready and can be used in areas where you want the very best in long-term wear resistance.

Textile floors use a special polyester textile backing that makes our already simple-to-fit floors even easier. Not only does

the backing let our Textile floors be laid without glue over large areas, it also combats bumps and lumps in the floor beneath, so you can install Leoline over a wider range of conditions. Tear-resistant, Textile floors also bring excellent levels of heat and noise insulation, making homes warmer and quieter. With a 60% recycled option too, Textile floors are beautifully suited to the tough challenge of renovation projects.

Sustainability

We value the environment At Leoline, we tackle the challenge of the environment head-on, looking for better ways to manufacture our floors and turn them into something else at the end of their life. Leoline is made using renewable energy in our factory powered by three on-site wind turbines that generate 13.3GWh per year – that’s enough to power more than 2000 family homes. As raw materials enter our production stream, we run rigorous tests and have standards in place to ensure they are compliant with international regulations, including REACH. We’re always looking for low-impact materials that can work as substitutes without performance trade-offs and have eliminated hazardous substances. We’ve also minimised VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) meaning your Leoline floor contributes to cleaner indoor air. Reducing reliance on solvents, Leoline floors are printed with water-based inks and our Superguard scuff-resistant, lowmaintenance wear layer is also a water-based polyurethane coating. Water-based dyes and coats are a great way to further reduce our use of chemicals. You won’t find any nasty smells lingering on your new Leoline floor, proving that what’s better for the planet is also better for the home. Instead of clogging up the roads with more polluting trucks, we use inland waterways whenever possible. In fact, 90% of our exports are by boat and by making our floors in Europe, we’ve already drastically reduced our long-haul transport requirements. All Leoline floors* can be completely recycled at the end of their life. Regarding production waste, we use the industry’s largest PVC recycling facility. This way we can turn our waste into a new backing for our floors. But it’s not just the way Leoline floors are manufactured that makes a difference to the planet . Excellent thermal insulators, keeping rooms feeling warmer, Leoline can help to reduce heating bills; while our Superguard coating makes them easier to clean. Using water and a mild detergent is all you need to remove the most stubborn stains, avoiding the need for harmful cleaning chemicals. Our state-of-the-art facility in Avelgem, using on-site renewable energy, ensures every Leoline floor is made in an extremely efficient process from start to finish. From design and development to the raw materials arriving and the finished floor leaving via inland waterway, we’re in control of every aspect of production. Leoline is made by IVC Group, which has been making vinyl flooring for homes and businesses since 1997. Now part of the world’s largest flooring company Mohawk Industries, IVC Group employs 1600 people across 10 production sites and multiple logistic and business hubs. By eliminating harmful pollutants and VOCs from our multi-layer cushion vinyl construction, all Leoline floors can contribute to cleaner indoor air, verified by our compliance with the most stringent European emissions standards. 17

The surface finish on Leoline floors makes it easy to clean up spills using water and mild detergent. Vacuuming and mopping is all that’s required to leave your Leoline floor hygienic and clean.

We’ve developed true-to-nature wood and stone textures that bring authenticity to Leoline floors. Creating realistic textures with a matt finish, Natural Look & Feel brings the essence of nature without the drawbacks.

Thanks to our multi-layer cushion vinyl composition, we’ve been able to develop a special accoustic foam backing to combat noise. Absorbing impact sound up to 21 dB, Super Accoustic floors help to make homes noticeably quieter.

This water-based PU surface treatment makes our floors scuff and stain-resistant, as well as easier to clean. Stubborn marks and dirt can simply be wiped away and the floor stays looking good. PU Lacquer lasts for the lifetime of the floor, so it won’t wear away, no matter how sparkling clean you like your floor.
