Here at Danum Arts Centre we strive to deliver a range of quality artforms ranging from live music to stand-up comedy, children’s theatre to nostalgic cabaret evenings. Our aim is to be Doncaster’s premier multi-arts venue and our inclusive, community-driven programme means we can be a place of education and immersion through creative arts. At Danum Arts Centre you can not only observe art, but also participate in artistic sessions and workshops to develop a deeper passion for art and performance.

Originally from the Deep South of the USA, and now one of the North West’s favourite comics. Reg is one of the good guys of comedy. A hypnotic, smooth-talking, very human comedian who hits your funny bone with tales of love, hate, death and all that is in between. He has been performing for just over a decade and has become a well-known face of primetime television shows such as Live at the Apollo, and is a frequent guest on Have I Got News for You.

A night of wartime classics celebrating old favourites such as The Glenn Miller Band, The Joe Loss Orchestra, Frank Sinatra, Vera Lynn, Ella Fitzgerald, Jo Stafford and much more! Dress in your finest wartime regalia and prepare to to jive memory lane! Music performed by 5 Star Swing For more details on the 5 Swing band please visit:

Block, Sierra Boggess, Liz Callaway, Ann Hampton Callaway, Louise Dearman, Kerry Ellis, Ben Fanhauser, Richard Fleeshman, Hadley Fraser, Caissie Levy, Christiane Noll, Jane Monheit, Julia Murney, Laura Osnes, Lea Salonga, Melissa van der Schyff, Willemijn Verkaik, Natalie Weiss and Raena White as well as recording artists Marc Broussard and RJ Helton.

From the 1989 book burnings of Salman Rushdie’s The Satanic Verses, to the murder of filmmaker Theo Van Gogh and the controversy of the ‘Muhammad cartoons’ in 2005, DV8’s new production examines how these events have reflected and influenced multicultural policies, freedom of speech and censorship. Can We Talk About This? is based on real voices and interviews, with leading figures from across the religious, political, cultural and social spectrum, including MPs, high profile authors and journalists.
