Student data from TERMS is now converting to Skyward Skyward Systems
Student Information System
Conversion of the TERMS Student Management System to the Skyward Student Management System, will begin on Thursday, July 23, 2009 through Monday, July 27, 2009. We have created a specific timeline of events that will occur over this 5 day period. Click below to view this timeline. Student FINAL data conversion timeline.
During this process, both systems with be unavailable to ALL users. Once the conversion has been completed, we will start the data verification process to validate that the conversion was successful. This process will continue through Monday. Please be patient, we will notify all users once the data verification process has been completed.
REMINDER: All student information for the 2009 - 2010 School Year MUST be entered into the Skyward Student Management System.

ITS Begins new Technical Service Desk Operations The first few days of activity on the new ITS Technical Service Desk have certainly been eventful. The TSD technicians are still undergoing training on the use of the phones and the incident management software all the while taking and resolving support calls. The technicians are already experts on their technical areas, now they must work at becoming experts on a state-of-the-art automated call distribution system, CallCenterWorx by NEC and a brand new version of Unicom’s IT PowerPAC Service Management Suite software. That’s a pretty tall order, but our dedicated team is up to the task. They are excited about our new and improved method of providing you technical support. In early July, construction was completed on our new TSD workspace. We’re proud of our new area, equipped with the latest in computer and telephone equipment that allows us to best serve the support needs of our customers the administration, faculty, staff and students of the school district. We’re still in the “moving in” stages, but if you’d like to come by ITS and take a look at where we do our work, come on down. As you enter ITS, we’re immediately on your left. You can check out
the action through a large window along the wall. We’re happy to have you come by and check us out. Go around the corner and come through the door to take a closer look if you’d like. As long as we’re not on the phone, you can even say hello or ask a question. If you need our support services, just call 429-HELP (4357) or drop us a detailed email at email@example.com. During the summer, TSD hours are the same as everyone else in the district. In August, when the 10 month employees return to work, our hours will expand to 6:30 AM until 6:00 PM on every working day on the 12 month employee calendar. The TSD is available to resolve problems that you have with your technology hardware and/or software applications. If your problem is related to the data within the software application, we also know which Data Steward is responsible and can route and track your issues with the correct Data Stewards at the district office. FAQ: Is Comp time handled through time-off in Skyward? Compensatory Time is a reason code in Skyward’s TimeOff module. Employees can
request it and have an administrator approve it just as we had done previously using the
Lotus Notes online leave system.

Other great happenings in ITS…. ITS has also been working over the summer to move equipment from our closed schools to existing schools. This allowed two schools with problematic phones to get upgraded phone systems that are consistent
with latest standards. We also placed computer technology throughout the district based upon equity of existing equipment needs.
