Laptop Carts: Bookmark this “How to” site in your favorites: http://www.fcps1.org/gmatthews/computer_labs There are 4 multipurpose carts available for school wide use. · Multipurpose Cart · Multipurpose Cart 1 · Multipurpose Cart 2 · Multipurpose Cart 3 All classes may use the any of the multipurpose carts. Use the appropriate calendar in FHS Public folders to reserve a cart. Directions for reserving a cart are on the website above. A Multipurpose Cart will be housed on the second floor in the Social Studies office. A key to the Social Studies office is available from the Annex secretary or Ms. Combs room 206. Keep a record: Assign students to a computer station/laptop. Use your grade book for this notation or download the form on the ITRT site. Please be vigilante. Review the Student Usage Guidelines and Rules with your students. (See website) Each user of the cart is responsible for work orders and maintenance of the cart. Submit work orders to Bridgetrak and leave a signed/dated note on the computer that the work order has been submitted to inform the next user. Avoid substitute lesson plans that involve use of labs/carts. Substitutes are not to use the carts/labs. Return the cart in a timely manner to the appropriate room and make sure the cart is plugged in to charge to be available for the next teacher.
The power adapters should be plugged in and visible when the cart doors are open so that you know all the laptops are charging and all the power adapters have been returned to the cart. Be careful that no cords impede the closing of the cart doors. February 2012
ANGEL Please add a link to ANGEL on your current SchoolCenter web page. Students and parents can access ANGEL. The username is the student’s ID number. The password is the student’s birth month and date expressed as a four (4) digit number. For example, April 3 =0403; another example, November 12=1112. If you find that you have students whose name is not in the database, submit information: http://tinyurl.com/73uklrx or see the table of links at http://www.fcps1.org/gmatthews BlackBoard the company that owns ANGEL recently acquired Edline (Easy Grade Pro). In the future, this should provide ANGEL with a more robust and fully functional online grade book capability. Currently, the grade book in ANGEL reflects only those items assessed in ANGEL; therefore, the grade may not be a true indication of the student’s complete grade.
