Lamp Projector features
raditional lamp projectors produce a bright vivid image via a bulb that can reach temperatures of up to 900°C. These projectors are usually larger in size due to their mercury bulb, which can last up to 4,000 hours, but also because of the cooling fans which are needed for the bulb. Ultrabook Although the explosion of smartphone use has seen a massive increase in connected workers, let’s get real. It’s not really practical to produce or even edit documents such as slide-decks and spreadsheets on a phone or tablet. Introduced in 2012, Ultrabooks on the other hand offer the portability associated with tablets, but with the extra power of a fully functioning laptop PC. For ultimate performance, consider models with the Intel Core i7 ULV processor. These offer all the punch you’ll need, but use far less power than a standard processor giving battery life of up to 8 hours on some models. That’s a true full days’ work. If you need to get down to work instantly, take a look at models with SSD (Solid State Drives) rather than HDD (Hard Disk Drives). Although you get less storage space with SSD, it’s offset by the benefit of almost instant boot times. Plus, SSDs contain no moving parts so they’re less likely to fail and potentially jeopardise access to your stored data. he way today’s school children are learning is evolving. Lessons are now more interactive via Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as laptops, tablets and whiteboards. But the flood of these devices has highlighted a problem for many schools... their wireless network.

High Density Problem At the start of each lesson a school’s access points are bombarded by users trying to log on to the wireless network in order to gain the materials for the lesson. But a lot of the time the network can’t cope and this leaves half the classroom including the teacher waiting. So instead of enriching learning through new and exciting content, the wireless network has caused a disruption to the lesson plan and the children’s learning. When a teacher reverts back to their conventional textbook, it does leave you asking whether it was worth investing in all the technology in the first place.

How do you give each user a secure, consistent, fair wireless network?
