Mediterranean Pine Trees

A collection of ten species of Mediterranean pine trees. There are three variations available for each of the species to create a comprehensive library of 30 plants.

This library is designed to be tightly integrated with Forest Pack. After installation all plants will be available in the Forest Pack library with materials for V-Ray and Corona to make adding plants to your scenes as quick and easy as possible.

Pinus pinea, the stone pine, is a tree from the pine family Pinaceae. Stone pines have been used and cultivated for their edible pine nuts since prehistoric times. They are widespread in horticultural cultivation as ornamental trees, planted in gardens and parks around the world.

Araucaria heterophylla, the Norfolk pine, is a vascular plant in the ancient and now disjointly distributed conifer family Araucariaceae.It is sometimes called a star pine, Polynesian pine, triangle tree or living Christmas tree, due to its symmetrical shape as a sapling, although it is not a true pine.

Abies Lasiocarpa Compacta, the Rocky Mountain fir, is an excellent specimen for the border or rockery. Lovely pale blue needles are produced on a compact, irregular pyramid, eventually making a small tree, definitely in the top ten of dwarf and slow growing conifers.
