Historic Mantorville This itinerary can be customized for anytime of the year. You’ll find it at coordinates K-18 on the 2007 Annual Group Travel Map, distributed in the Fall 2006 issue of Itineraries Minnesota Magazine. Mantorville, a Nationally Registered Historic Place, is located halfway between Rochester & Owatonna. 11:30 – 12:30 pm Start your tour with lunch at the Hubbell House. Enjoy fine dining amidst decor and antiques of the Stagecoach era. A special Tour Banquet Menu is available for your group to order from. 12:30 – 2:00 pm Take a guided tour of the Mantorville Brewing Company. See the historic brewers log cabin from the original Mantorville Brewery dating back to 1858. End the tour with a sample of their famous Stagecoach Ale. 2 – 2:45 pm Tour the Restoration Home. Restored and furnished by the Mantorville Restoration Association, this 1856 is filled with hundreds of interesting and unusual items. A well-versed hostess is on duty to interpret the artifacts and

furnishings as they relate to the area’s history. 2:45 – 4:00 pm Enjoy the antique shops and unique gift shops where you can find home accents, antiques, and much more! Make sure you stop at The Chocolate Shoppe, “The Sweeetest place in town”, for homemade caramel and toffee or an ice cream cone. Yummy!
