KALOCSA The town of Kalocsa is as old as the Hungarian state and was one of the archbishoprics founded by King Saint Stephen in 1009. Kalocsa is the second archbishopric in the country. The Cathedral beside the compelling building of the Archbishop’s Palace gained its present form in 1754. Today the town is the centre of national paprika growing and production; its history can be explored in the Hungarian Red Pepper Museum.
KALOCSA Die Stadt Kalocsa ist so alt wie der ungarische Staat und war das zweite von König Stephan dem Heiligen im Jahre 1009 gegründete Erzbistum im Land. Die Kathedrale neben dem imposanten Gebäude des erzbischöflichen Palais erhielt 1754 ihre jetzige Gestalt. Die Stadt ist heute das Zentrum des Anbaus und der Verarbeitung von Paprika in Ungarn, über die Geschichte dieser Frucht kann man sich im Gewürzpaprikamuseum informieren.
KALOCSA La città di Kalocsa ha la stessa età dello stato ungherese, era una delle arcidiocesi fondate nel 1009 dal re santo Stefano. Kalocsa è la seconda arcidiocesi ungherese. Accanto all’imponente Palazzo arcivescovile si trova la Cattedrale, che ha assunto la forma odierna nel 1754. La città oggi è il centro della coltivazione e della lavorazione della paprika ungherese, la cui storia può essere contemplata nel Museo della Paprika.
KALOCSA Kalocsa városa egyidős a magyar állammal, és egyike volt Szent István király által 1009-ben alapított érsekségeknek. Kalocsa a második érsekség az országban. Az Érseki Palota impozáns épülete mellett álló Székesegyház 1754-ben nyerte el a mai formáját. A város ma a hazai paprika termesztés és feldolgozás központja, melynek története megtekinthető a Fűszerpaprika Múzeumban. 215
