Evolution of SeneGence SeneGence is a privately owned, network marketing company that is in the business of developing and selling anti-aging personal care and long lasting color products through an independent sales network. SeneDefinitions Customer Purchase Receipt – A required-by-law Customer Receipt (in triplicate copy) given to Customers by a SeneGence Independent Distributor for each purchase of SeneGence products. Glamour Demo – A gathering of women for the purpose of learning about and trying SeneGence products, consisting of a SeneGence Distributor, a Hostess and three or more adult guests. Glamour Demo Hostess Pak – A set of print materials offered in an envelope given to future Hostesses and designed for the Distributor to be used in coaching the Hostess to have a successful Glamour Demo. Launch Demo – A New SeneGence Distributor’s training and business launch Demo conducted by their Upline sponsor SeneGence Distributor. Partner for Profit – A temporary product sales arrangement established between a SeneGence Customer or potential Distributor and a SeneGence Distributor to help the Customer or potential Distributor earn credit or cash towards product purchases or to fund their initial SeneGence business investment. SeneBlends Beauty Guide – A guide written for SeneGence Distributors, teaching glamour application, makeup tips and techniques. SeneBlends Demo – A one-on-one appointment between a SeneGence Distributor and a Customer for the purpose of engaging in a complete color makeover, including application of SeneDerm Skincare and makeup to the face. SeneBlends Customer Profile – A Customer tracking and information sheet. SeneBlends Silhouette – A blank facial silhouette to be given to a Customer after completing a SeneBlends Demo and used for the benefit of recording product placement and application techniques. SeneGence Beauty Book – A catalog containing SeneGence product and company information, including product photos, descriptions and pricing. SeneGence Beauty Book Distributor Guide – A guide designed for SeneGence Distributors for use as a presentation aid when conducting a Glamour Demo. SeneGence Choice – Option given to those sampling SeneGence product: to become a Customer or Distributor of the product SeneService E-Blast – An electronic newsletter containing product and sales information sent to SeneGence Customers each month on behalf of their SeneGence Distributor. Wowing – The process of showing SeneGence products in public places to gather names and numbers of those who would like to try SeneGence products; prospecting; cold calling.

Section II: SeneGence Demos SeneGence Demos

Now that you’ve ‘Wowed’ a person by showing someone the product on the back of your hand and you’ve exchanged phone numbers then followed through by picking up the phone to ‘Book’ them …it’s time to ‘Demo’. There are three main types of SeneGence Demos: 1. Launch Demo 2. Glamour Demo 3. SeneBlends Demo

Launch Demo

A Launch Demo is a Glamour Demo conducted by their Upline Distributor for a New SeneGence Distributor. If the guest of a Glamour Demo or a SeneBlends Demo chooses to become a Distributor of the product, the presenting (Upline) SeneGence Distributor will book a Launch Demo to help the new Distributor launch his/her new SeneGence business and help teach how to conduct a Glamour Demo. Please refer to Section X: Launch Demo Presentation in this guide for more information.

Glamour Demo

The Glamour Demo consists of a SeneGence Distributor, a Hostess and three or more adult guests. The goal of this Demo is to: • Help Hostess earn products and SeneGift. • Identify new Customers and sell products. • Identify and sign up new Distributors. • Book future Glamour and SeneBlends Demos or ‘Partner for Profit’ opportunities and sell even more products. Guests learn of the SeneGence technologies and products by sampling textures of the formulas on the back of their hands, while a SeneGence Distributor teaches them about the products and their functions, unique characteristics and usages as outlined in the SeneGence Beauty Book. Every guest will apply LipSense to her lips prior to the end of a Glamour Demo. Guests will purchase desired products and if also desired, book another follow-up SeneBlends Demo or a Glamour Demo … and sometimes both based upon a choice they’ve made – to become a Customer of the product or a Distributor of the product. Be sure to view the Glamour Demo DVD for excellent examples of how to conduct the perfect Glamour Demo.

SeneBlends Demo

A SeneBlends Demo consists of a SeneGence Distributor and one or two women and generally is the follow-up or second Demo scheduled and booked at the previous Glamour Demo. If the guest at a Glamour Demo chooses to become a Customer of the product, the presenting SeneGence Distributor will book a future SeneBlends Demo to teach her proper color application, placement and various glamour techniques. This means more time is spent with this new Customer as color application and placement begin with clean moisturized skin. This follow-up Demo is usually done privately at a date and time when the Customer and Distributor can spend at least an hour uninterrupted. Also refer to the SeneGence SeneBlends Beauty Guide for product and color placement, blending, and application tips and techniques.

Assorted Demo-ing Opportunities There are multiple opportunities to schedule a booking and conduct a Demo in places outside of the home or office. Despite the location, the goals are essentially the same: to Demonstrate and sell the product to others, to offer the SeneGence Choice and to book future Glamour, SeneBlends or Launch Demos based upon the choice those sampling the products make – Customer or Distributor? Demo-ing the product in high traffic areas is essentially the same as conducting an in-home Demo except that the presenting Distributor rarely has required time to Demo the full product line. Such public Demo-ing time is usually restricted to the lip color and a few other products. For this reason, high traffic Demo-ing opportunities should be used as lead generators for future full Glamour Demo bookings. Section III: SeneGence Beauty Book SeneGence Beauty Book

The SeneGence Beauty Book was designed to be used as a product-by-product guide introducing and teaching the features and benefits of the products to potential Customer(s)/Distributor(s), AND to lead the Customer(s)/ Distributor(s) through a Glamour Demo. By the end of the Demo, the Customer(s)/Distributor(s) will be well-informed and in a position to make the choice that is best for them: “Would they prefer to become a Customer of the product or a SeneGence Distributor of the product?”

Features of the SeneGence Beauty Book

Studies have shown that in our current culture, it is important that an informed consumer of today know certain information about the company and the products prior to making a final purchase decision. The necessary “background’ who; how; what; why; and sometimes even ‘where’ as it pertains to the company and product information and history are covered before the actual product Demo begins. • Who, What & Why of SeneGence is discussed within the first few pages of the Beauty Book. • The Who, What & Where of the products are revealed throughout the book. • Many consumers rightfully demand that corporations take responsibility for the impact the business may make upon the environment and communities in which the corporations operate. SeneGence reveals its positions on pages 7 and 48 (SeneGence Community section) of the Beauty Book. • Today’s consumers generally require and find delight in the benefit of the extra perks offered from the use of a company’s service or product. SeneGence has designed the Hostess Appreciation Program & “Thank You” Gift for such reasons (SeneGence Incentives section.) • The days of unsubstantiated product claims are over. The well informed consumers of today want to know how the products work and they need to know what benefits they can expect to receive. This information is covered on pages 10 and 11 (SeneGence Science section) of the Beauty Book. Our versatile and very busy target market (women with skin and lips!) requires products that really work and are simple to use. For this reason SeneDerm Anti-Aging SkinCare and SenseCosmetics Long-Lasting Color Technology products are listed in order of use and offer: • Properties and benefits unique to the SeneGence product line. • Testing verification exercises. • Product description and (in some cases) step-by-step application instructions. • Shades categorized by blue base, yellow base, and neutral color tones. • A listing of SeneDerm and SeneDerm Solutions Anti-Aging SkinCare items from head-to-toe.

It also includes: • An offer to consumer to become a Distributor and save even more money for at least a 20% discount on all purchases.

Always Use the Beauty Book at Glamour Demos

Regardless of how well trained or knowledgeable the Distributor, the Beauty Book and corresponding Beauty Book Distributor Guide will increase sales during the Demo and will help to sponsor potential new Distributors. Potential Distributors/Customers learn from and internalize information through a combined variety of methods. The SeneGence Beauty Book allows those who learn through pictures (seeing) and through the page descriptors (reading) an opportunity to internalize the information. Their product education is enhanced by the Demo-ing Distributor’s verbal dialogue (hearing) and by presenting sample products during the Demo (touch and smell).

Each time a Distributor utilizes the information in the SeneGence Beauty Book, it enhances Customer awareness because it: • Reinforces Customer education. Customers who understand the features and benefits of their products are more committed to a regimen, therefore deriving the desired results. • Satisfied Customers are very likely to expand their product line usage as budget allows and new products are launched. (Not to mention, they are a great source for referrals.) • Offers interested Customers/Guests additional Glamour instruction opportunities through the SeneBlends program. Sponsoring from Glamour Demos is enhanced using the SeneGence Beauty Book for potential new Distributors because it: • Makes the Distributor presentation process of a Glamour Demo seem relatively simple. It is clear to all attendees that the Distributor is following the guide. • Gives every potential Distributor an opportunity to learn of the presenting Distributor and SeneGence’s core values. • Helps to eliminate any anxieties a potential Distributor may feel regarding his/her personal inexperience, lack of skill in glamour application and/or product knowledge, sales and sponsoring and other normal ‘how-to’ fears. The premises upon which Glamour Demos are conducted are: to have fun, educate the potential Customer/ Distributor about products and company and to offer each guest who tries the products the SeneGence Choice that is best for them. Once having learned of the products, company and opportunity, each guest may choose between two choices at the close of the Demo: 1) to become a SeneGence Distributor (upon which you purchase the items at wholesale, sell to others and earn sales income, with you as their Upline SeneGence Distributor) or 2) to become a SeneGence Customer and pay suggested retail prices. And should they become a Distributor and recruit new Distributors below you, you then may earn commission income. The important thing is the SeneGence Beauty Book keeps the presenting Distributor on-task and professional.

LIP Prompts and Instructions

The Beauty Book LIP Prompts (designated with a red kiss icon) were created as a tool to prompt SeneGence Distributors to offer the ‘Choice’: to become a Customer or a SeneGence Distributor and to mention booking opportunities. Below are suggested dialogues to use for the various LIP Prompts found throughout the SeneGence Beauty Book. They can help you maximize future booking, sales, and sponsoring outcomes. Clinical Test Results LIP Prompt (page 10) – “It is why I represent SeneGence, because of my passion for products that really work.” Kiss and Pat Test Instruction (page 27) - “Now that your selected shade of LipSense has been applied, let’s ‘kiss the lips’ at the top of the page. What do you see? Nothing! (There may be tiny specs of color – these are dead skin exfoliating off the lips surface) Now I will hand to each of you a clean cotton pad. Please ‘pat’ the back of the hand we applied the cream products. What do you see on the cotton pad? Nothing! These products really work! During your SeneBlends or Launch Demo I will share with you more beauty tips and blending combinations to create custom shades just for you.” Hostess Appreciation Program LIP Prompt (page 38) – “We’ll book a Demo with every one who is here today. For my Customers, I will teach you proper placement and application techniques before your friends arrive…then we’ll work together to earn lots of products for free. If you become a Distributor, we’ll use your Demo as a training event for you and I’ll help make sales, book future Demos, and even begin building your Downline for you.” Career Opportunity (page 42) - “Now is the time for you to make a decision. How would you like to book your Demo – as a Customer with a SeneBlends Makeover and Hostess Credit & SeneGift or for training as a New SeneGence Distributor?”

Section IV: Glamour Demo Preparation Welcome to the best vehicle available for retail selling as a SeneGence Distributor ... The in-home or in-office Glamour Demo! This process of showcasing, demonstrating and selling our highly unique line of long-lasting SenseCosmetics and anti-aging SeneDerm and SeneDerm Solutions skin care products is simple, fun, duplicable and most of all, highly profitable! You will find at each Demo, both guests who would like to become a Customer of these great products and guests who would like to become a Distributor selling these products. Either way – Glamour Demos are the best way to build your business, your Customer base for sales income and your Downline Distributors upon which you earn commission income.

SeneGence Glamour Demo

A Glamour Demo is a gathering of a SeneGence Distributor, a Demo Hostess and three or more adult guests who want to learn more about SeneGence products from a SeneGence Distributor. This group dynamic works best as ‘friends sell friends”; they encourage one another to purchase, praising shades, assure each other they would surely make great SeneGence Distributors, and even confirm their participation in the event another booked a future Demo.

Preparation is Key

We recommend listening to the Product Knowledge flash drive or Back Office MP3 library, reading the SeneGence Product Knowledge Guide (found in your Back Office) and watching the Glamour Demo DVD several times for increased knowledge and professionalism. If possible, attend a live in-home or in-office Demo with your Upline. Increased exposure to different selling situations and techniques will enhance your overall confidence and sales performance! Lastly and most importantly, enjoy your Demos, our incredible product line and the opportunity you have as a SeneGence Distributor.

Timeliness and Appearance

It is important to have plenty of time to properly set up for the Demo. Ideally you would arrive at least an hour before the start of a Demo to teach the hostess glamour techniques and makeup application. The more organized you are, the easier it will be to sell and sponsor … the goal of each Demo. If you are on time you have valuable opportunity to chat with the Hostess, do a SeneBlends makeover, set up and help make the Hostess comfortable by helping her with any last minute details she may have to attend to. Your appearance is important, as we know first impressions do indeed count. Here is a self check list for good grooming: • Shoes clean without scuff marks • Nails manicured (hands and feet) • Location-appropriate clothing • Hair done appropriately • Makeup immaculate • Clean and shiny accessories of any type • Clean car

Roller Totes

SeneGence has found it easiest to carry any and all supplies and inventory in handy roller totes. You can purchase them from your local craft, fabric or mass department store.

Inventory

There are several ways in which you can supply Customers with SeneGence products. Here are examples:

Deliver-On-the-Spot

Taking inventory to sell at your Demos will help you boost your sales dramatically. Be prepared to sell larger volumes of product by taking all shades in the entire line of SenseCosmetics, and SeneDerm and SeneDerm Solutions SkinCare products for people to purchase. At the end of the presentation, you will be offering LipSense and SeneDerm products in set form to all first-time buyers. Be sure to have plenty of inventories on hand so that you may send each new Customer home with a complete set. It is important that each set be complete to offer our 100% Customer satisfaction and product performance guarantee.

Demo Drop Ship Order (DDSO)

This program allows every Distributor to sell the entire SeneGence product line at a Demo even if they do not have inventory on hand. DDSO is a ‘drop ship’ order system where that you may order products and have the products sent to your hostess after the Glamour Demo. Once completing the presentation, you will order all products using your credit card and paying the wholesale price of products that have been selected by the guests at the Glamour Demo, then ship them to the Hostess for her to distribute to her Demo guests. Customer Direct Order (CDO)

The Customer Direct Order program allows your Customers to order and receive product directly from the company, while at the same time provide payment to the selling Distributor of retail profit (minus a small service charge) and to their Upline for commissions and bonuses on the sale. And, you may use this function to order products for each individual guest attending a Demo by using the guests credit card (with their

permission, of course) and charging the suggested retail price for products. The profits from all such product sales are calculated and sent to the earning Distributor twice each month. Please refer to the SeneGence Distributor Training Manual for tips and instructions on how to determine what size of inventory you may want and how to create an ‘inventory build’ by using a percentage of your sales profits.

Hostess Coaching

It is important to do 1-on-1 Hostess Coaching whenever possible: At her home, at lunch, coffee break, after work, etc. Meeting with your Hostess and going through the Glamour Demo Hostess Pak in person will help to solidify the Demo date. A Demo is less likely to be rearranged or cancelled when you establish this relationship, as does booking the Demo (within 2 weeks of the date whenever possible).

Glamour Demo Hostess Pak

Here are some important steps for Hostess Coaching:

1. Review the contents of the Pak. 2. Be sure that you have studied and understand the Hostess Appreciation Program listed in the SeneGence Beauty Book and on the Hostess Appreciation Program flier in the Back Office. 3. Use the Hostess Planner page to establish her “gift goal” for free products and product discounts. 4. Help start her Guest List using the Planner, with a goal to invite 30 people; 15 will say ‘Yes’ and approximately 7 will attend. 5. Coach her on how to invite, using the best word choices to get good attendance… Example: “Can I count on you to come?” 6. Show her how to get outside and absentee orders from those who can’t attend, and to invite them to host their own Glamour Demo. Only give a hostess 5 days after the Demo (and before the close of the month) to collect any extra outside orders for Demo host credit. 7. Have her mail Reminder Postcards (25 in the Pak), Evites, etc. These should be a reminder only, not the actual invitation. The real invitation is the Hostesses voice inviting them to attend … it does make a difference. 8. Have her also select a “back-up Hostess” in case of an emergency. It should be a neighbor, for example, or someone who could fill-in at the last minute if needed. 9. Follow-up with two enthusiastic calls to your hostess: • First call: within 48 hours of booking the Demo to verify the date & time of the Demo. Have her select the time to begin the “Demo”… 30 minutes before will be the “Social Half hour.” That allows you to start the Demo on-time. It’s now in ink, and you need 5 days notice if there’s a change in the date. Also, see how the inviting is going. Encourage her to over invite, and send the reminder postcards, etc. • Second call: 2 days before the Demo to see how everything is going. Remind her to call back the “Yes” & “Maybe” responses to remind her guests about the Demo. And to tell her guests to bring a friend. BE ENTHUSIASTIC! Your excitement will motivate her. 10. Always invite every Hostess to join us as a Distributor. Use sponsoring information listed in the Beauty Book to help tell the SeneGence opportunity story and the Opportunity Brochure in the Pak.

Working with your Hostess

Hostess preparation prior to the Demo is key and should be done twice. Once, when you book or confirm the event, and again, before the guests arrive. Make sure you recommend to the Hostess not to serve food or drinks prior to Demonstrating LipSense, as the product should be applied to clean, dry lips. Keep refreshments to a bare minimum during Demo. Serving water in a clear glass can be an asset, as there will be no lip marks on the glasses after they have applied LipSense! Let your Hostess help you with the product set-up, and talk with her about the entire product line and the SeneGence opportunity while doing her SeneBlends. For Guests - Set up the following for each guest at a table with chairs: • Mirror • Pen • SeneGence Customer Purchase Receipt • SeneGence Beauty Book Table Product Display and Testers: Display the following: • One each full size SeneGence Product • One each SeneGence Accessories • Tester products • Filled applicator containers/supplies

Front of Demo Table

Only SeneGence products should be displayed at your table display. It is not necessary to spend earnings on nonresalable distracting items to create an attractive table setting. Remember, if it looks complicated and expensive… it is! Your guests will be watching you and observing how simple or complicated it is to be a SeneGence Distributor.

Back of Demo Table

Place all product testers and applicators directly in front or near you. Only you are to disperse product from testers, and only you will handle and pass out applicators to each guest at the appropriate time during the Demo. This will help you to keep control of the Demo, decrease unnecessary exposure to applicators and testers, and greatly diminish the length of time the Demo requires. Your goal is to keep each Demo under one hour.

Getting the Party Started As guests arrive take the opportunity to meet them one-on-one, then together choose a LipSense shade that is closest to the shade they are wearing to apply during the Demo. Make the color selection by running the lipstick that they brought with them on the back of their hand. Run the LipSense color next to their lipstick on the back of their hand until you find a match and encourage them to leave it there. Tell your guests that the lip color you have selected will stay on their lips for many hours therefore, it is important to select one close to the color they normally wear. LipSense is designed to stay on the lips, so demonstrate a color you know they will like wearing. (To vary greatly from preferred shade is not a good idea when first trying the product as they may want to immediately remove the color) Set selected shade aside to use later. Tell each guest the name of the color chosen for her selected LipSense Demo color shade. Ask each guest to remember the shade and place a check mark by the name of the LipSense color on their Wish List, in the Beauty Book located at their seat. It is important for them to remember the name because you will be using corresponding colors to match throughout your presentation.

Keep Shade Selection Simple

If they are using a shade of lipstick that might take a little more experimentation to match other than a choice between two LipSense colors, let them know that this first product Demo is primarily to show them our new color technology. If after the Demo they choose to take the LipSense home with them, you will then spend ample time blending their signature shade.

Beginning the Demo

Once all guests arrive begin the Demo by watching the SeneGence Story DVD on the monitor in the home of the Hostess or on your laptop computer. After Part One finishes playing, ask the guests to return to the table to begin the Demo.

Extend the SeneGence Choice

Once all guests have chosen a LipSense color and are seated, prior to turning your attention to your copy of the SeneGence Beauty Book Distributor Guide and their attention to the SeneGence Beauty Book, announce “Ladies, SeneGence makes a Promise; each of you have two ‘Choices.’ Once having learned of the products, company and opportunity each of you may choose to become a SeneGence Distributor or become a SeneGence Customer. Now let’s get started.”

Benefits of Extending the ‘Choice’ Guests – For the first time, guests hear that this event may be more than they had first thought. This Demo just may

have introduced them to an opportunity, another choice, a way to fix, the answer to their searching, something they were looking for. Those who are interested will listen with another ear. Guests begin to process information to help them make decisions that are best for them as soon as they know they have options. Questions may arise, such as: What is this company really about? What does the company stand for? How do they do business? Is this difficult to learn? Do women really buy these products? What makes the products so special? How long does it take? Do I have to be a sales person? Is she a sales person? Will I be successful at this?

Distributor – Sponsoring and building a Downline becomes a natural and expected result of Demos. Because you

are simply delivering the SeneGence Choice, as the Distributor you have set the stage and given others the opportunity to contemplate becoming a Distributor throughout the Demo. Because each guest may make his/her own choice, Distributor performance pressure to build Downlines is eliminated. Offering the SeneGence Choice and soliciting their decision at the end of the Demo will capture a greater number of those guests looking for an opportunity. Now you are ready to begin the SeneGence Glamour Demo.

SeneBlends Demo

If the Glamour Demo begins first with a SeneBlends - the Hostess learning glamour application and how to apply a customized SeneBlends Glamour Look, you must arrive at least an hour before her guests arrive for the Demo. Choose a SeneBlends Glamour Look from your SeneBlends Portfolio to replicate for your hostess and proceed to apply the entire product line, step-by-step, to her face. Make notes and blend shades together for custom looks using a SeneBlends Profile Sheet for her later reference. By learning about their lives, you may easily point out to each and every guest how they too may take advantage of becoming a SeneGence Distributor and how easy it would be to fit this opportunity into their existing schedules and situations.

Reinforce Choice Option Opportunities

As you learn about each guest, constantly reinforce the individual and unique opportunities they may already have to choose to become a Distributor. For example: A guest states that she is a high school teacher. The Distributor should point out to the guests the high school teacher’s advantages; “Oh! My Goodness! You need to choose to become a Distributor! You have a built in Customer base at your work! How many of the teachers are women? Don’t you think they would just love this product?” Ask key questions and learn more of their needs and desires. Most people need to be told what to do to help fulfill their needs and desires. • “What is your career?” (85% of the work force does not enjoy what they do everyday to earn a living!) • “Do you work around other women?” (You need to become a Distributor so that you can sell these products to them.) • “Would you like to earn additional income?” (You may begin a very part-time business after hours.) • “You seem like the type who wants it all. How would you like to be your own boss with an opportunity with no glass ceiling?” In doing so, you help to build the confidence of potential Distributors. Often the other guests will chime in and begin to discuss who should become Distributors and why. Sometimes several join together. They convince each other of the reasons each one of them should be come Distributors. Many times, you find that the guests will help overcome objections that potential Distributors may state as concerns. You have brilliantly and naturally opened the door to possibilities for others … without being pushy. You simply give good direction and advice. It is now up to them to make their own choices. Emphasize Distributor Benefits & Options

To maximize long term residual and take advantage of the SeneGence Distributor product income and Downline commission schedules; the rule of thumb is - “Concentrate on sponsoring and default to sales.” Distributors should flip through each of the pages of the SeneGence Beauty Book (and Distributor Guide), presenting the information to the guests as if they were talking to a group of potential Distributors; as if each were to become a part of the SeneGence Distributor base doing the stated action. Our statistics show that 9 out of ten women who try SeneGence beauty products will purchase the product….so the Demo-ing Distributor should concentrate on identifying who at the Demo will become Distributors (at least 2 out of every 5 guests will become SeneGence Distributors). By approaching the Glamour Demo in this manner, guests begin to visualize themselves as Distributors. They become aware that the majority of information they need to know is contained within the Beauty Book or they may know someone they believe would like this type of opportunity. Some of the attendees will begin to identify with the Distributor and will be inspired by their story. The Demo-ing Distributor gives every guest an opportunity to begin processing and internalizing the information as a career opportunity. As they complete each page of the presentation they communicate a complete and accurate picture of what the products are and how they are sold, what the company is about and what type of an organization they may join. The Distributor may rest assured they have covered each one of the critical points needed to give potential Distributors enough information to further pursue exploring the SeneGence Opportunity, if that becomes the intent and desire of the guest.

The Next Step – Choices & Options

Bravo! You’ve successfully guided the Demo guests through the presentation by teaching guests about our amazing anti-aging skin care and color technology and allowing them to sample the products on the back of their hands and on their lips. Throughout the presentation the guests have been told they have choices and options based upon the decision they make that is best for them….to choose to become a Customer or a SeneGence Distributor. At this point, you must determine which of the two decisions they have each made and then proceed to outline their next options. You’ll want to sell SeneGence Products to each guest regardless of the choice made and book: • SeneBlends Demos for guests who choose to become Customers • Launch Demos for guests who choose to become Distributors

Section VII: Customer and Distributor Choices & Options Closing the Demo

A Pro is always closing the sale ... and you are constantly closing in a natural, friendly, and non-pushy manner that maximizes potential sales and future commission income when you utilize the LIP Prompts and instructions as outlined in the Beauty Book Distributor Guide. In fact you begin to close during your opening remarks, “….at the end of the Demo each of you will choose either to become a Customer of the product, paying suggested retail from me; or a Distributor of the product purchasing the product directly from the company at a minimum of a 20% discount.”

Guests’ Choices and Options

The goal at every Demo is to ensure guests feel comfortable making purchases and bookings after deciding between the choice to become a Customer or join SeneGence as a Distributor. Time-and-time-again, prompted by LIP Prompts or Instructions, you offered both Customer and Distributor options for: purchasing or earning products, for ‘partnering for profits,’ booking Demos to earn product or for training, and for becoming a Distributor or simply becoming a Customer. The choices they make determine their options. Just as you offered product and usage guidance throughout the Demo, you also must you guide them through the choices to become a Customer or a Distributor. As the Demo comes to an end, guests are beginning to crystallize the choice that is most immediately optimum for them. You need to know which choice each guest has made before you can determine which options to outline for each of them. The Distributor then leads each guest through the available options:

What beauty products do they want to take home and which to earn or replace?

Booking Options

What date and time would they like to schedule their Glamour Demo, SeneBlends, or Launch Demo?

Clearly and Distinctly Ask for the Choice

After the product and option presentation, before you can best advise guests on specific booking, purchase, and distributing options available to them you must first determine which choice they’ve each made; conclude the Demo by asking each guest; “Have you chosen to become a SeneGence Customer or a SeneGence Distributor?” Generally speaking guest choices and options lead to five distinct end results: 1. Guest did not Purchase Product 2. Guest becomes Customer, Purchases Product 3. Guest becomes Customer, Purchases Product, and Books Glamour Demo 4. That way you can take home everything you want today, pay for half of it … and earn the remaining balance based upon the sales at your Demo in the Hostess Appreciation Program? It’s just as easy for me to do because I’ll have everything we need with me for your SeneBlends.” Guest: Let them agree/confirm. Distributor: “Great! You should invite 20 friends and coworkers because out of every 20, five will actually make it. This is my career, and I take it very seriously. Feel free to invite lots of women because I promise I will be there. You can count on me, and I know I can count on you.” Distributor: “How would you like to pay for the items you take home today?” Answer any questions and and book their Demo.

Maximize Your Exposure

Your Customers can lead you to many other potential Customers. Here is a sample dialogue to book an office Demo or earn products by taking outside orders, ‘Partnering for Profits,’ or booking an office Demo to meet greater numbers of potential Customers: Distributor: “If money were no object, what products would you like to take home with you this evening?” Let her tell you all that she really wants. Distributor: “Fine, let’s get you started on all that you want, you may pay for half (plus retail tax) and earn the balance by taking outside orders, partnering with me, or scheduling an in-office Demo. Do you work in a building with other women?” If the answer is YES, ask: Distributor: “Do the girls take a lunch break in a break room? I will be happy to come at that time. Or, would it be best to book the Demo right after working hours?” If the answer is NO, ask: Distributor: “Do you have friends or family you believe will be excited to try these products? If so, I will be happy to provide you with Beauty Books and Customer Receipts so that you may share this with your friends and earn credit towards more product.” If she is not interested in that option, offer: Distributor: “I have another way. We’ll ‘Partner for Profits’…. I have gift baskets you may take to work to sell for the Holiday season. We will split the profits and you can earn credit towards the items you want. Does that sound fun? Great!”

This selling and booking technique is designed to offer choices and let your Customers feel good about their purchase and booking options. Most often, your excited future Hostesses are your prospective new Distributors. You are training them at this initial Demo by your actions. They see how simple the process is and how easy it is to sell this technology. Customers are entered into your Customer database through the SeneService program found in your SeneGence Distributor Back Office. Please refer to the Great Customer Care section of this guide for more information.

Distributor Choice Booking and Purchase Options

Sponsoring and building a downline becomes a natural and expected result of Glamour Demos. Simply delivering the SeneGence Choice to become a Customer or a Distributor sets the stage and gives others the opportunity to contemplate becoming a Distributor throughout the Demo. Because each guest may make his/her own choice, Distributor performance pressure to build Downlines is eliminated. Offering the SeneGence Choice will capture a greater number of those guests looking for an opportunity. The goal with each guest who becomes a Distributor is to help: • Make purchase selections • Offer payment options • Book Launch Glamour Demo • Set up initial training

Take home whatever you like and pay me for them at suggested retail or replace the products by ordering replacement products within your first order to the company. Which would you like to do?” The point is to let them take home the products they are excited about using and schedule their launch Demo to get them off to a great start in their new SeneGence business.

Overcoming Objections

Some guests simply cannot make a decision. What to do? Booking Demos isn’t about “asking” someone to do something for you, it’s giving an “invitation” to someone to receive free products, have fun and learn about our fabulous products. Those who are wavering should be encouraged to book a Demo, invite their friends to listen to their reactions, watch the Demo again, and then decide if it is something they would like to do. If it is, the Demos booked at that next event will belong to the new potential Distributor to help launch his/her business.

Invite, Compliment, Close (I.C.C)

After you answer the objection, go back to the Close: “So if we were to get together, what would…….” Sometimes people have a difficult time articulating why they may feel apprehensive about booking: “Tell me ____________, what’s keeping you from having a Demo right now, maybe I can help?” There are some instances when you can’t book; you’ll never know why so keep the door open for future bookings: “It sounds like it’s not a good time for you right now. Would it be ok if I call you in the future?” If you do not book a guest, always ask for referrals … “I’m trying really hard to build my business in this area and I could really use your help. Do you know of anyone who likes makeup or skincare, could use some extra money, or just loves getting together with friends? It could be a friend or relative.”

Wrapping It Up

After taking orders, completing the Customer Purchase Receipts and booking future Demos with each guest in attendance, fill all orders.

Include Accessories

Include in orders a LipSense Pouch with Mirror, SeneBlends Palettes or Body Pooof where applicable. Refer to Tips and Tools section of this guide for more information and refer to the SeneGence Distributor Supply Order Form found in the SeneGence Distributor Back Office to view a list of all Accessories available for purchase.

Up-Sell with Sample Sizes

Include one set of sample size SeneDerm SkinCare or Foundation Testers for those who did not purchase those products. Sample sizes provide a great reason to up-sell during the next day follow up phone call. Refer to Tips and Tools section of this guide for more information and refer to the SeneGence Distributor Supply Order Form found in the SeneGence Distributor Back Office to view a list of all Sample Sizes available for purchase.

Remember the Media

SeneGence DVDs, CDs and flash drives help to make you more effective and professional. They help validate you, your career opportunity and your products. You will sponsor more and retain more Customers simply by reviewing these as a business practice. (There are dozens of ways to use the DVDs and CDs). The SeneGence Story DVD is entertaining and educational. It is a very professional tool that will help to facilitate your relationship with each guest. The DVD, CDs and flash drives help to educate both Customers and potential Distributors about the products. Often, you will find they share them with others. New potential Distributors will appreciate viewing the Career Opportunity DVD. You will retrieve the DVDs from your guests after your follow-up phone calls. Record onto their Sales Ticket which tool you provided to each. Listen to complete product knowledge on the flash drive provided to you in your NDK or in the MP3 library in your Back Office.

Benefits of Media

It is suggested that Customers/New Distributors view all information at a time when they can concentrate on the contents. They need to hear the information clearly to better understand the benefits of the products and company. Existing Customers are a Distributor’s best source for new Customers. Customers who are committed to the products will spread the word and are a great source for referrals. Additionally, excited Customers/new Distributors may not only decide to become Distributors, they may share the DVDs, CDs and flash drives which may lead to additional potential Distributors. Refer to Tips and Tools section of this guide for more information.

Paks for Future Business

If you know a particular woman who works in a building or is involved in activities where she is around many women and she did not book a Demo, it is a good idea to include a Glamour Demo Hostess Pak (including an Outside Order Form) or a Partner for Profit Form with her purchase. Also, be sure to place a follow up phone call, as she is more than likely to book a Demo or to take orders from associates. Along with purchases, include Glamour Demo Hostess Paks, or Potential Distributor Paks. (refer to Tips and Tools section of this guide for more information) to your new SeneGence Customers, Hostesses, and prospective Distributors. Tell your future Hostess you will be in touch with them the following day to review how to have a profitable and fun Demo. Confide in them you’ve included some information about the company because you believe that after her Demo, she should become a SeneGence Distributor. If she is not interested, maybe she knows of someone who is. For all of the women who purchased product and did not book a Demo, but who you’ve learned work with other women, when giving them their products, inform them you are including an Outside Order Form or Partner for Profit Form and an extra Beauty Book with their purchase. They may find that when they go to work, others may want wonderful SeneGence products. She can easily earn extra products by simply filling out the Customer Purchase Receipts and submitting them to you.

Packing Up

Packing up should be simple because other than the mirrors, display products, testers, Demo containers, paper work, paks, etc … that easily fit into your roller tote, there is very little to pack for a Demo as you’ve given necessary items out to others - other than un-purchased inventory, of course. Thank the guests for their time and remind them that you’ll be speaking to each of them tomorrow by phone. Depart. Your goal is to be in and out in 1 ½ to no more than 2 hours. Others are watching how long the Demo takes. If it only takes an hour or two those contemplating the idea of becoming a SeneGence Distributor may believe they have time to fit this business into their busy schedules. Every woman becomes your business partner in one way or another. Their satisfaction is your gain. Happy Sales!

Section VIII: The Day After: Sales, Bookings, & Sponsoring The Day After: Sales, Bookings & Sponsoring

Demo Sales, Bookings and Sponsoring efforts almost always increase and in some cases double in the day or two following the Glamour Demo as long as the Distributor follows up and follows through with each of the Demo guests as promised during the presentation. The majority of guests will begin to think about opportunities they already have to share the products with others and to think about the possibilities of the career after they have left the commotion of the Glamour Demo. Additionally, those who purchased a small amount of product to see if it really works may now be very excited about further purchases by the time they receive your call and will often purchase more.

Follow Up Phone Calls

Follow up phone calls are a very important business practice and must be made to each and every guest, regardless of whether they purchased products or not. Demo sales totals should not be calculated until after the follow up phone calls have been completed. Follow up phone calls made within 24 to 48 hours of each Demo may dramatically increase the totals of the both sales income and commission income earning opportunities.

Second Chance

Guests usually hear the information contained throughout the presentation for the very first time during the Glamour Demo. Most people do not make decisions that involve purchase or time commitments the first time they hear the information. They need time to absorb the information and to think about it. Each person’s perception of investment and commitment is different. They will not hear all of the information; they hear it in selective fragments and they will not remember all that they heard. Follow up phones calls are the second opportunity a SeneGence Distributor has to offer the guests opportunities to purchase products, book Glamour or SeneBlends Demos, and/or to become a SeneGence Distributor. During the phone call, have on hand the guests’ completed Customer Purchase Receipts from the Demo so that you may properly suggest additional items not purchased and view the list of any accessory items given to each guest. You’ll need a Beauty Book, extra Customer Purchase Receipts, a calculator, and your date book near by.

Follow Up Phone Call Dialogues

When making follow up phone calls, always immediately identify yourself and ask if they have a moment to talk. If they do not, ask for another time that is convenient for them. Thank the guest for taking the time to attend the Demo and mention it was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to meet and get to know them. Here are some suggested follow up phone call dialogues for the 5 types of Guests a Distributor may have encountered during a typical Demo, based upon choices made by the Guests. 1. Guest Did Not Purchase Product 2. Guest Becomes Customer, Purchases Product 3. Guest Becomes Customer, Purchases Product, and Books Glamour Demo 4. Guest Becomes Customer, Purchases Product, Books Glamour Demo, and Becomes Potential Distributor. 5. Guest Becomes Distributor, Purchases Product, and Books Launch Demo

1. Guests Did Not Purchase Product

This individual, though rare, did not purchase product, book a Demo, or state they might be interested in becoming a Distributor. Do not query the guest who does not make a purchase in front of other guests. She may have to offer an excuse that might preclude her from taking positive actions as a result of a private conversation between a Distributor and the guest later. It is best to talk with her privately during the follow up phone call. Do not assume she did not like you or the product. The goal of this follow up phone call is to find a way for this Customer to earn product or to become a Distributor so that she can earn extra money herself. If money is the issue (you may never know) and she is willing to do the work, book a Demo to earn desired products, Partner for Profits, or let her take Outside Orders. Distributor: “I hope you enjoyed the Demo and the product.” If the response is positive try to find a way to make her feel comfortable and open about your offers: Distributor: “I know with so much information presented and so many choices to make, it is difficult to understand it all the first time you hear it. I know you love the product and now that you’ve had a little time to think about it, I am sure you know of some of your friends or work associates who would love to try these products. Let’s ‘Partner for Profits.’ It is a program that allows me to share the profits with my Customers. Here’s what I can offer: I will give you sets of products to take to work and around to where ever you go throughout the week. Sell as many as you can. At the end of the week we’ll tally it up. Or I will conduct a Demo for you at a location of your choice, with any number of guests you choose, and we will split the profits. With your share of the profits, you may purchase products, or even better, use the funds to become a SeneGence Distributor and begin making your own profit! I will teach you how!” If the response was negative, be gracious: Distributor: “I am sorry it was not as you expected. If you can think of any reason or you wish to ask a question about the products or the company, please feel free to call me. My number is on the Beauty Book I gave you last night.”

2. Guest Becomes Customer, Purchases Product

This guest purchased product and did not book a Demo or state they are interested in becoming a Distributor. These Customers purchase everything from a LipSense Collection all the way up to the entire product line. Consider the following: Most consumers will allow themselves a certain purchase limit each time they spend money. They may have purchased their limit at the Demo and are willing to purchase more when you call. Some of the guests are looking for confirmation that the products really do work and purchased only a few products to prove it. Having had a chance to prove their value, by the time you call, these guests may be ready to purchase more. Many guests will share the products with work associates and friends in the next day or two. They may begin to imagine that they could indeed make money selling the products or because of the excitement of others, they may now be willing to book a Demo. The goal of this follow up phone call is to ‘take it a step further’. For these Customers you – • Educate - to reinforce Customer retention for reorders and review product usage and instructions. Ask if they have had the opportunity to watch the SeneGence Story DVD. • Sell - Make additional purchase suggestions to expand her selection (at the very least another Gloss!) • Book - Ask if she has shown the products to others and as a result would she like to book a Glamour Demo or perhaps she would like to book a SeneBlends Demo for herself. She is free to invite a friend. How about taking outside orders to earn product? • Sponsor - Since she and her friends are excited about the products, she should consider becoming a Distributor. • Ask for referrals – Do they know of anyone who may be interested in the product or becoming a Distributor. Distributor: “Thank you so much for your order. Let me review the instructions for you … Have you shown the product to the women at work? Great! Let’s book a lunch Demo. You can earn more products to add to your selections.”

3. Guest Becomes Customer, Purchases Product and Books Glamour Demo

This guest purchased products, booked a Glamour Demo and/or SeneBlends Demo, and has no interest in becoming a Distributor. These social creatures like to have get-togethers for her friends and associates. Although they may seem to be the perfect potential Distributor, they may have no desire to be their own boss or change their lives. If they are not interested in becoming a Distributor you can bet they know someone who is. Let gracious ladies like these be the great hostesses that come naturally to them and let them host for all of their ladies groups and organizations. This guest will lead you to more Demos and new Distributors! The goal of this follow up phone call is to confirm and coach her through having a successful Glamour Demo and restate other future possibilities. • Review product usage and instructions • Confirm date and time of Demo • Review and coach through Hostess Program • Set SeneBlends Demo prior to Glamour Demo (she’ll look amazing and help increase sales during the Glamour Demo) • Explore ‘Partner for Profits’ opportunities for the charities of which she is associated Distributor: “I am looking forward to meeting your friends at the Demo.” (Review the above suggestions) “ Let’s review the Hostess Pak.” “Since you love the products so much, would you like me to arrive an hour earlier to customize a SeneBlends Look designed just for you? 4. Guest Becomes Customer, Purchases Product, Books Glamour Demo, and Becomes Potential Distributor

This guest likes the products and is excited about the prospect of becoming a Distributor but needs more time to contemplate the possibilities. She may need to hear how her friends react, learn more details about the company, the products, or even the Distributor. Perhaps she needs time to finish other projects before she can make a commitment. She may need to first see the improvement in her skin due to our products. The important thing is to give her room and not to pressure her. Allow her to enjoy hosting a Glamour Demo. The experience will prove to be invaluable should she decide to join. Provide information on whatever she may desire to learn more about or address her interests or concerns. The goal of this follow up phone call is to determine what the potential Distributor needs to help make an intelligent decision. • Review product usage and instructions • Review Glamour Demo Hostess Pak • Confirm date and time of Glamour Demo or SeneBlends Demo • Determine if any additional information is needed • Answer questions about the business of SeneGence and help determine where she will find her initial Customers. This guest recognized a good thing when she saw it. She completed a Distributor Application while at the Demo and gave it to you to enter when you returned to your home office computer. She loved the product and took some home, paying suggested retail. She also booked her Launch Demo and you sent her home with a Hostess Pak. The goal of this follow up phone call is to Coach her through having a successful Launch Demo and to schedule training. • Review product usage and instructions. • Advise her to watch the SeneGence Story DVD and Career Opportunity DVD you gave her (You want those back when she receives hers contained in the GDK and NDK). • Determine initial sales goals for her Launch Demo • Map out a weekly training plan – Company Webinar; meet to review weekly efforts, results, and company information. • Review Fast Start options and progress • Place initial order • Arrange to have her attend a couple of your Demos Distributor: “I am calling to go over the Hostess Pak I gave you and to schedule your first training. Follow up phone calls usually lead to more earnings and more possibilities. Follow up phone calls increase profits by providing appropriate clarity to the information first heard during a Demo. Section IX: Great Customer Care Great Customer Care

SeneGence has many different types of programs, support, educational events, and processes that help to provide great Customer Care to both Distributors and Customers. Think about it, the Distributors who join SeneGence from your Demos are also Customers, like Customers from your Demos, only they are Customers in a different way and need directing in a different way. Regardless, great Customer Care can be easy and should be immediate to get both Customers of the product and Distributors of the product off to a great start. Please refer to the SeneGence Distributor Training Guide for detailed information on Customer Service and Downline Distributor Sponsoring and Development. Great Customer Care often begins with a single meeting between a guest and a Distributor during a Glamour Demo and becomes a year round project. Residual incomes from reorders of Customers who use SeneGence products greatly enhance monthly product sales income if properly planned for. Adopting the motto “Once a Customer, always a Customer” will serve Distributors well. Each Customer not only provides immediate, initial income from first time product purchases, but pays off in unforeseen multiples for product purchases of refills and new items. Satisfied Customers generally order new products as they are launched. Little time is required to reap the benefits of these types of multiple profit earning opportunities.

SeneService E-Blast Customer Support Program

Customer Service made easy! This is a monthly email correspondence sent from SeneGence on your behalf, to your Customers. The content keeps them informed about new products, opportunities, tips and most importantly, keeps your Customers in contact with you. Each SeneService e-blast contains information such as product offerings, company specials, booking and sponsoring offers, and interesting tips and information on skin care and glamour. Individuals who order products from you through the CDO , SeneSite, Demo Drop Ship, or whose names and e-mail addresses are entered manually by you will receive the SeneService E-Blast once each month. You may enter your Customers into the program by going to SeneGence Distributor Back Office> Business>Customers> SeneService Emails.

SeneSite

The SeneSite program is a 24 hour e-commerce tool that allows you, the individual Distributor, to have your own customized web page, which becomes the home page and portal to the company website www.SeneGence. com. It also includes a Customer tracking system. It is highly recommended to, from-the-onset, use the SeneSite Customer Tracking Tool for an efficient form of communications with those clients who are online. There are many benefits to the SeneSite program: • Convenience of “one-click” shopping for your Customers • Exposure to the latest products and company information for your Customers • Referral and lead programs that are directed to SeneSite Distributors, by zip code, on a rotating basis • Subscribers receive access to additional tools in their Distributor area including a customized home page, access to downloadable presentation files in the SeneLibrary, SeneMail for creatively formatted e-mails, and other functions necessary to manage your SeneSite Go to your Distributor Back Office or SeneGence Distributor Hand Book to learn more.

Reorders

Reorders can actually become a larger portion of a Distributors’ monthly income than immediate sales from Demos, due to a continually increasing Custom ustomers need only one or two meetings with a Distributor to learn about the benefits of our products.

A One Time Sale Can Mean Long Term Profits

Immediate product purchases at initial Demos become the profit earnings for the Distributor for the time spent

during the visits. Residual reorder earnings continue to build with each passing month. Additionally, sales and profits increase as Distributors continue to introduce the Customer to products not previously purchased during the initial Demo along with their standard reorder product purchases. The chance of retaining a Customer as a reorder Customer is significantly increased by good Customer service practices. Good Customer service begins within twenty four (24) to forty eight (48) hours after any one Customer has purchased SeneGence products. A Distributor should always call each and every new Customer to answer any questions they may have since purchasing the products, regardless of the product purchase selection. During the conversation, reiterate usage instructions and over come any objections. (This is a great time to ask for referrals, for outside order offers, offer to conduct a Demo for them elsewhere, and of course, extend the ‘SeneGence Choice to become a Distributor.)

Organize Customer Care

To capitalize upon the available profits from residual income reorders, one must get organized from the start. Devise a system by which you may alphabetize Customers, call them within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours after initial product purchases, and every thirty days (30) after that. The “every thirty day” phone call will set up a product refill pattern for each Customer. Some Customers will need product in thirty days, some forty-five days, and some sixty; depending upon personal usage habits. Organize these Customers into a dated monthly file for efficiency.

Always Up Sell

When placing the calls, be sure to “up sell”. Take note of previous sales and tracking tickets for products yet to be purchased (each Customer’s sales tracking tickets should be stapled onto their card file). Teach them about and sell them new products during the call. The goal is to create a Customer Reorder file full of “Complete SeneGence Customers” for optimal return. Note children, birthdays, anniversaries, work place, etc. This data will become very valuable as you devise more sophisticated Customer service programs.

Customer Reorder Retention

The percentages of one-time Customers who become reorder Customers vary from Distributor to Distributor. Just as it is impossible to predict every Demo’s initial sales totals, it is also impossible to determine which new Customers will remain loyal reorder Customers. This is where the Distributors personal touch and good Customer service comes into play. Obviously, the greater percentage of Customers that remain Customers, the larger and more profitable your residual reorder income becomes.

Tracking Reorder Profits

Tracking Profits from Reorder Income takes time. Reorder income and the numbers necessary to determine your Customer retention percentages upon which to estimate monthly and annual earning income will take six months to a year to effectively identify. Distributors must give themselves time to establish an average monthly new Customer count, compounded monthly with existing reorder Customers, to determine the average reorder value per person.

Distributor Care

Upline Distributors help to direct Downline Distributors to success. You are not solely responsible for any one new Distributor’s personal success, but it is the Upline’s responsibility to conduct a Launch Demo and to arrange trainings for New Downline Distributors on dates and times that are mutually beneficial. Trainings may be provided by you personally, by your Upline, or by another Distributor who can offer a more convenient training location. Each well trained Distributor adds to the body of one Profitable Downline with exponential earning returns. Open communication is vital within the first month of a new Distributor’s career. Remember, this is a new venture that may appear to be overwhelming at first. Generally, a new Distributor must make decisions unlike any others in past experiences. Be sure to offer reasonable unbiased advice and guidance based upon the new Distributor’s personal goals and objectives.

New Distributor Guidance List

There are a few guidance milestones in the process of setting up a new business in Direct Sales that can, if handled by a caring Upline, immensely aid in the success of a new Distributor. When at all possible help a new Distributor by: • Reviewing Product Order Options. Help place initial orders based upon new Distributor’s sales goals. • Encouraging them to sign up for a SeneSite. • Meeting together to review all of the contents of the Glamour Demo Kit. • Explaining Fast Start and SeneSharing programs and options. • Helping to organize Demo set up and supplies. • Making sure the new Distributor knows how to Coach the Hostess • Attending initial training events with Distributors (even if that means attending company weekly webinars). • Arranging for new Distributors to assist you at two of your Demos as your assistant. This is the best form of hands on training for the new Distributor and, in turn, she’ll help you pack/unpack and fill orders. • Offering to conduct a Launch Demo and assist new Distributors with their first two Demos. • Calling your new Distributor after her first half-a-dozen or so Demos to answer questions. Know that in the initial months of selling the products and sponsoring new downline, there will be much they have not yet had the chance to learn. • Encouraging new Distributors to track weekly sales and sponsoring efforts in the SeneGence Date Book and use a weekly sales sheet found in the Distributor Back Office. • Conducting new Distributors initial sponsoring interviews. This will help build their knowledge about the Company and the Industry. (Take with you another potential 1st line Distributor to listen and learn). • Encouraging Distributors to attend Company Sponsored Events. If you and your new Distributors agree to complete the above listed items, you’ve helped to get them off to a great start and are most assuredly guaranteed you will each enjoy a growing and prosperous experience at SeneGence.

Section X: Launch Demo Presentation Newbies Need Training

Yay, a Newbie Distributor! Let’s set her up for success, shall we? Newbie Distributors each need to book and Host a Launch Demo. Hosting a Launch Demo is great practical experience and is the very best way to get a new Distributor’s business started off on the right foot.

The Launch Demo

A Launch Demo is a Glamour Demo hosted by a Newbie Distributor and conducted by the sponsoring Upline Distributor. The Newbie Distributor is the Hostess, inviting friends & family as a way to introduce them to her new SeneGence business. The Newbie Distributor will gain valuable insight as a Hostess and fully understand the processes her future Hostesses will be utilizing while preparing to host their own Demos. This alone will help the Newbie Distributor better Coach her future Hostesses.

Launch Demo Goals

As her Upline, you conduct the Glamour Demo for her. She will act as your assistant. Most importantly, she is there to learn as much as she can from you about the way you prepare, pack for, conduct, sell, book, and sponsor at a Demo. The goal of a Launch Demo is to help train the Newbie Distributor by teaching her how to: • Demonstrate and Sell Products • Book Future Demos • Sponsor New Distributors • Hostess Coach • Book Newbie Distributor’s Launch Demos

Demonstrate and Sell Products

The profits from the sales of products at a Launch Demo are always split evenly between the Upline Distributor conducting the Demo and the Newbie Distributor hosting the Demo. Costs are always covered by the Demo sales and repaid to the Distributor who provided the items, including supplies. However, there are a couple of choices you can make about selling products at the Launch Demo: 1. The Upline Distributor may sell her own inventory if she carries sufficient amounts on hand. If so, the costs of the inventory and supply value belongs to the Upline Distributor and the profits are split 50-50 between the Upline Distributor and the Newbie Distributor. 2. In the event the Upline Distributor’s inventory is used, the Upline Distributor may agree to allow the Newbie Distributor to replace all products sold by immediately placing an order (upon which the Upline Distributor makes 10% commission) following the Launch Demo and have it sent to the Upline Distributor through the Demo Drop Ship order option. The profits are split 50-50. The Newbie may use the additional profits to order additional inventory.

Book Future Demos

Glamour Demos, SeneBlends Demos, and even other Launch Demos scheduled during a Launch Demo belong to the Newbie Distributor to help jump start her business. The goal is to book at least four Demos within her first month; two Glamour Demos and two Newbie Distributor Launch Demos with her own downline Newbie Distributors.

Hostess Coaching

Normally Hostess Coaching is conducted the following day after having scheduled a Glamour Demo with a guest from the previously held Demo. However, for a New Distributor, the Launch Demo is about the only place where she can witness you coaching a Hostess unless you schedule a time the following day to meet and together call to Coach the Hostess. Usually this arrangement is not possible, so make time to Hostess Coach Future Hostesses at the Launch Demo so that the New Distributor may learn how to do so properly.

Help your Newbie Distributor build her downline by sponsoring one or two new Distributors (your now new second line Distributors) from amongst the guests attending the Launch Demo. There is nothing better than sponsoring new Distributors and beginning to build a downline right out of the gate.

Section XI – SeneBlends Demo SeneBlends Demo

A SeneBlends Demo is a one-on-one, two at the very most, appointment between a SeneGence Distributor and a Customer for the purpose of engaging in a complete color makeover along with application of SeneDerm skincare and makeup to the face. A SeneBlends Demo is usually scheduled with a guest from a Glamour Demo who desires to try the entire product line and who would like glamour application advice and instruction from her new SeneGence Distributor.

SeneBlends Distributor Training

Initially, the SeneBlends Beauty Guide and SeneBlends Profiles will help guide you through learning multiple SeneBlends glamour application tips and techniques along with plenty of color blending makeup tips. As well you will find application techniques taught online at SeneGence.com when clicking through the product application buttons, or on the SeneGence International YouTube channel. Glamour training is available at the SeneGence International Headquarters as well as broadcast online twice a month during Glamour Clinics. Additionally, Sene-U New Distributor Training is scheduled at the office the first Saturday of the month. Check the training schedule listed in the Sentiments weekly e-mail for date availability and to register to attend SeneU. Additional Glamour training is usually available during SeneGence sponsored scheduled events throughout the year. For fun and further training we recommend attending glamour Demos scheduled in department or retail stores to learn trendy tips and techniques. If you are interested in more detailed ‘how to’ applications and prefer more formal types of training, many local colleges and business offer makeup classes for a nominal fee. As well, the internet offers unlimited makeup instruction for free.

To conduct a SeneBlends Demo you will need all of your SeneGence product testers and samples, inventory to sell, and virtually the same tools and supplies used for a Glamour Demo. SeneBlends Profile Portfolio

The best way to carry and display the array of SeneBlends Profiles is to create a SeneBlends Portfolio with each glamour look inserted into a notebook sleeve (and this allows you to carry several copies of any one look). Use at a Glamour Demo - When discussing the SeneBlends program and the prospect of booking a private SeneBlends Demo with the guests of a Glamour Demo, pass around your SeneBlends Profile Portfolio and say something like this: “We Distributors may download SeneBlends Profile Glamour Looks from the SeneGence website, and build a SeneBlends Portfolio inclusive of fabulous, versatile looks from which our Customers may select. Take a look at these … When I meet with you privately we will choose a look you would like to replicate and customize just for you.” You will increase follow up bookings. Those who are interested in becoming a Distributor but are hesitant due to their lack of confidence in glamour and color knowledge will be happy to learn they have SeneBlends Profiles as a resource for training and support. Use at a SeneBlends Demo – Review the SeneBlends looks (available in your Back Office) to get a good idea of what the Customer would like to accomplish during your Demo. Let her select her favorite look and proceed to teach her how to achieve the look. Recreate the look for her on a SeneBlends Silhouette if you should change some of the shades listed. Use at a Women’s Group Presentation – Pass the SeneBlends Portfolio around the room during a glamour presentation/skincare training of any kind of gathering of women. Tell each to select a glamour look and remove from the sleeves to keep and take home. You will arrange with each an appointment to meet privately before they leave the meeting. Set your datebook on a table near the exit door and book them as they leave. Bring Hostess Paks to pass out so you can book Glamour Demos with those who would like to invite friends.

The SeneBlends Customer Profile used as a Glamour Demo placemat is an inexpensive, multi-functional Customer setting placemat. It is versatile and simple piece: • Acts as an interactive thought provoking product sales tool to increase sales. • Serves as a natural process that leads to booking additional SeneBlends follow up Demos. • Is designed to help you learn more about and manage your Customers • Helps to organize Customer reorder records for product and purchase history and the corresponding sales tickets for each Customer. Used at A Glamour Demo – “Each of you has in front of you a SeneBlends Customer Profile. Please use the lip pen to complete the profile. This provides me vital information about you that I will later need to help create a signature glamour look of you very own. I’ll tell you more about that later.” Completing the SeneBlends Customer Profile helps to build anticipation about the information guests will learn throughout the Demo, and then later at their private SeneBlends Demo. The Profile gives the Distributor a tool in which to make the first Glamour Demo an interaction with Potential Distributor and Customers. During the Glamour Demo presentations, after the explanation of SenseCosmetics you may want to say something to increase future bookings like: “SenseCosmetics color technology is fully blendable. Everyone can create a look that is unique to them. I will book individual private appointments for one-on-one SeneBlends Demos where we will strip your face and create a custom glamour look for each guest at a time that is individually convenient.” Let them know that the profile sheet they filled out before the Demo will help you create their custom look based on their lifestyle, work schedule, activities, and personal tastes. This is a great way to introduce the SenseCosmetics product line to those in attendance, build guest anticipation for a future SeneBlends Demo with personalized service and glamour instruction, ultimately help you to up sell SenseCosmetics, and lead to the possibility of meeting additional Customers at the future SeneBlends Demo. Introducing SeneBlends Demos; • Builds guest anticipation for SeneBlends Demo • Guest receives from you personalized service and glamour instruction • Helps up sell SenseCosmetics • Leads to additional Customers. Use for Increased Bookings and Product Sales - Potential Distributors and Customers learn that you, the Distributor, are interested in their personal needs. SeneBlends Silhouette is used as a training tool by the SeneGence Distributor during a SeneBlends Demo for the purposes of instruction for the Customer. It includes a blank facial ‘palette’ and a space for listing each step of makeup application. The SeneGence Distributor records the shades of each makeup application in the lines provided and may use a SenseCosmetic Brush Collection brush to apply shades to the face.

This allows a Customer to recreate a desired look taught by the SeneGence Distributor long after the SeneBlends appointment. SeneBlends Silhouette is available for downloading at your SeneGence Distributor Back Office>Resources>Marketing Materials>SeneBlends.

SeneBlends Palette

SeneBlends Palettes are used to create any desired shade of the color spectrum by blending our creamy SenseCosmetics and long lasting liquid color technologies together. The SeneBlends Palettes are wax coated, disposable papers and should be sold or given as a gift with purchase to Customers. They are available for ordering on the Distributor Supply Order Form.

SeneGence Distributors obtain New Potential Distributor/Customers from virtually every venue SeneGence products are demonstrated. Therefore opportunities to meet new Customers and new Distributors and to book future Glamour Demos with these new contacts are virtually limitless.

WOWing

Our Customers are men and women everywhere who desire to have healthy beautiful skin … and if the women have lips, they’ll want our products! When you meet people, show them the long-lasting LipSense color on the back of your hand … and it begins!

What is WOWing

WOWing is meeting new people, finding new friends and lead generation for future business. When people have the opportunity to see our products, especially the LipSense, their immediate reaction is WOW! Your goal is to collect names and telephone numbers to follow-up and get new Customers and new Distributors – both can lead to new Glamour Demo Hostesses.

Where to WOW

You can WOW everywhere you go. That’s how you can build an on-the-go business. Just arrive early to do your shopping, at food courts, appointments, banking, etc., and spend 30 minutes (Or as long as you like) meeting new business leads. You can also go door knocking in your neighborhood or any area you would like to build your business.

WOWing Generates Bookings

When you exchange names and phone numbers with people you meet, be professional and call within 48 hours as promised. Here is a simple, sample booking dialogue: “Hi _________, my name is __________ and I met you at __________ … I am the woman with the lip color that doesn’t come off. I promised I’d call you back to book a time that works for both of us, so you could try our products. What time is best for you, the beginning of the week or the later part of the week? Which day (Monday) or (Tuesday)? Time of day? (morning) or (afternoon)? What hour? (10:00 am) or (11:00 am)? Since I’ll be there anyway, if you’d like you’re welcome to invite a couple of your friends to come over and ‘play makeup’ too. You could qualify for free products! Great! This is my profession so you can count on me to be there … and I know I can count on you!” More often than not you can turn a wowing contact into a Glamour Demo and maximize your return opportunities. Partner for Profits

‘Partner for Profits’ agreements open more options for you to make more money, to build your Customer base and to build your Downline. Both you and your chosen Partner benefit! And that just feels good! ‘Partner for Profits’ creates a partnership between you and another person for the purpose of creating a mutually beneficial and profitable event. A ‘Partner’ is one who takes part in an activity with another to create a successful business alliance. You, the SeneGence Distributor are the first part of that equation! There is a sample of the PDF Form in the last section of this guide.

What Exactly Is Partner For Profits?

‘Partner for Profits’ is another type of BOOKING! You have a very unique opportunity with SeneGence to partner with individuals who would like to temporarily sell your product and split the profits based on your prior agreement. • Build your Customer Base through partners • Build your Distributor Base through partners It’s the ultimate form of referral networking to build your business! Who is My Partner? Offer the ‘Partner for Profits’ Opportunity to the following people: • Top Customers who know the product and want to earn some money. • Average Customers - Current & Past • Financially-challenged Customer - Someone who wants to be a Distributor but has no funds to get started • Potential Distributors who want to test the water first before signing up. • Inactive Downline Distributor – Partner for her Customers; spilt first time reorder totals. • Business Owners who want the product on a short term basis (2 weeks at a time) throughout the year. • Salons - You sell at the salon for a day and share a % of your profits. • Spas - You sell at the Spa for a day and share a % of your profits. • Boutiques- You sell at the Boutique for a day and share a % of your profits. • Tanning Booths - You sell at the Tanning Booth for a day and share a % of your profits. • Charity Organizations • Non-profit Organizations - Who can you partner with each month to help them raise money while earning profits for yourself as well? • School Fundraisers • Vendors - Share the wealth of each vendors contact base.

Make an Annual Partner Plan

Imagine if you had a minimum of one business, one Customer and one Charity organization each month partnering with you. Can you imagine the NEW business opportunities you would have WITHOUT doing any of the ground work of gathering leads? Instead, they do it for you and make the sales, too! Determine a Partner Plan that starts at the beginning of each quarter (January, April, July, and October). Pre-plan who you are going to contact for the ‘Partner for Profits’ Program within each of the three months of the current quarter. Agree to the Partnership and pre-schedule it at least a month before it is to start so you have plenty of time to fill available Partnerships. Start with whomever you currently have to choose from. If you only have 2 partners this quarter – great! Start there and build on it next quarter. It is better to get started than not to start at all.

Partner for Profit & Inventory

If your Partner arrangement includes your Partner selling items elsewhere, give them a sample amount of testers to sell including - gift sets, gift baskets or inventory, depending upon the agreement. If you are giving inventory: 1. Check out your inventory like you check out a book at the library… fill out a RECEIPT for the loan. 2. Take a credit card number to secure the loan. 3. Determine the amount of profit you will give her (20 - 25% of sale will split the profits). 4. Set a due date for return of merchandise or charge of card. 5. Each of you signs the receipt contract in agreement of the loan. 6. Place YOUR information on all items – receipts, labels on tubes, brochures, etc. (YOU’RE the Distributor – they are simply ASSISTING you in selling YOUR product on a temporary basis) 7. Write your Partner a check or tally up the credit they’ve earned towards product purchases at the end of the selling period for their portion of the profit. Offer them the Distributor opportunity again!

Sharing Profits

If a Distributor is helping someone earn credit towards purchases or earning funds towards starting their new SeneGence Business, the Distributor must first calculate the wholesale cost of product (including shipping, handling, SeneGence Distributor Glamour Demo Guide US_082216 ©2016 All Rights Reserved

taxes) and recoup that cost before any other calculation is made. Regardless of how products were sold – at a Glamour Demo, Launch Demo, or by a Partner selling products - the cost of the inventory and supply value belongs to the Upline Distributor and the profits are split 50-50 between the Upline Distributor and the New Distributor or Customer. New Distributors or Customers may then spend their portion of the profits as previously agreed.

Partner for Profit Costs

And what does it cost you to ‘Partner for Profit’? Nothing! Instead you earn a minimal amount of profits to meet new people you would have never have known without the effort of the initial contact. You’ll get the reorders or the new Distributors and they will love sharing the unique product line with their friends, family & Customers! What do you have to gain? More business w/less effort!

Benefits of the Partner for Profit Program

When you ‘Partner for Profit’ with individuals, businesses or organizations, you are developing new business through NETWORKING! You will meet new people through their network of contacts. It’s referrals at their finest! Outside Orders

Outside Orders are a great way to increase sales to be applied towards Hostess Credit and is basically another way to ‘Partner for Profits.’ The more Customers you arrange to take Outside Orders, the more new Customers you gain and ultimately meet for additional sales. There is a sample Outside Order Form included in the Booking and Demo Aids portion of this guide. Create Outside Order Paks in an envelope or folder to keep it simple and organized. Include in paks: • 1 SeneGence Beauty Book • 1 Outside Order Form • 10 Customer Purchase Receipts Or, Outside Order Paks are available for purchase on the Distributor Supply Order Form. Give the Outside Order Pak to your Customer and determine a final sale date and time to meet so she can deliver the items. Outline how she earns credit based upon the Hostess Appreciation Program as outlined in the Beauty Book. Show her how to complete the Customer Purchase Receipts and calculate sales totals, tax and shipping, if any.

Outside Orders for Glamour Demos

Outside Orders are taken by a Hostess for those invitees who are not able to attend a Demo but who want to purchase product anyway. The Hostess of the Glamour Demo helps the absentee guest complete the Customer Purchase Order Form by selecting the desired items, adding the total and accepting forms of payment as instructed by her SeneGence Distributor prior to her scheduled Demo time. All orders should be delivered to the SeneGence Distributor at the time of the Demo and applied towards the Hostess’ Credit as outlined in the Hostess Appreciation Program.

Outside Orders for Customer Credit

ALWAYS offer the opportunity to earn credit towards purchases when making reorder phone calls to your Customers. You’ll be surprised how many would prefer to take orders than pay cash. When a Customer chooses Outside Orders simply send an Outside Order Pak in the mail along with their reordered products. You can coach her over the phone how to do it and set an end date for orders due.

Basic Booking for Outside Order New Customers

Here is a basic booking sample dialogue that describes how a Distributor introduces herself and begins to build a relationship and future business with a new Customer who has ordered through this method: “Hi ______. This is _______. I am sorry you could not attend _________’s (name of Hostess) Glamour Demo. Thank you for your order. I’d like to set up a time to meet with you so that I can show you how to use the product you purchased. What time is best for you? The beginning of the week or later? Afternoon or evening? _____ or ______ time? Since I’ll be there anyway, if you’d like to invite a couple of your friends to come over and ‘play makeup’ too, you could qualify for free products! Great! This is my profession so you can count on me to be there….and I know I can count on you!” More often than not you can turn an Outside Order contact into a Glamour Demo to maximize your return opportunities.

Referrals

Everywhere you go where there are people you speak to, you may collect names and phone numbers of others would be interested in your product. All you have to do is ask. Happy, satisfied Customers are usually very willing to give the names and numbers of friends and family they think would enjoy this fabulous product line. To elicit the names and numbers of their referral, simply remember to ask … it’s that easy!

Remote Demos

You may want to offer Hostess Credit to the Customer (as outlined within the Hostess Appreciation Program) in exchange for the names and numbers of, let’s say, three referrals who actually hold a Demo. Hostess Credit will be calculated on total sales of all three Demos held. Call it a ‘Remote Demo’. Since it is held remotely, the Demos could be performed over the internet on programs such as Skype®. You’ll want to call and introduce yourself to the referral and determine if in fact the referral is interested in trying SeneGence products. Say something like this to begin the conversation: “Hi, this is _______. Your friend _______ gave me your name and number because she just knew you would love to learn more about our products.” If the referral is interested, proceed with the phone call. Describe the product briefly and book the Demo using the basic Booking dialogue. Do not over sell on the phone. You can better sell when you are face to face at the Demo. Make sure you remember to tell them they can invite some friends, too. If the referral is not interested, thank them for their time and ask if they know someone who would be interested in learning more.

You Can Count On Customers

Customers make the best Distributors. During reorder phone calls, always offer the chance for a Customer to become a Distributor and therefore pay wholesale for their future order (and you earn commission on those orders). You never know what may have changed in the life of a loyal Customer that might inspire them to finally become a SeneGence Distributor. Maybe it’s as simple as “The time is right”.

Company Product Promotions

SeneGence offers special Distributor product promotions throughout the year. With each Distributors product promotion offered, is a built in opportunity to contact your Customers to pass along the savings and to ask if: • The time is right for them to become Distributor and make extra money/pay wholesale for their order? • Would they like to book a Demo, “Partner for Profits,’ or take Outside Orders/Referrals to pay for the order? • Do they have a Charity you can Partner with?

Company Booking Promotions

SeneGence offers special booking promotions to its Distributors throughout the year. The “Kiss Off” contest is a great example of a booking promotion. Here is a suggested dialogue to increase bookings with Company Booking Promotions: “Hi _______. This is _______. Guess what! My company, SeneGence is giving _________ worth $_______ every single week to a Hostess, a _______ valued at $_______ to a guest and a lucky SeneGence Distributor will receive ______ each week, too! Let’s get our names in the drawing and have some fun … What time of the week is good for you? The beginning or the end? _______(day) or _________(day)? Morning or afternoon? _______(time) or _________(time)? Great!” Proceed with Hostess Coaching and send or drop off a packet to ensure a successful Demo.

Special Events

From time to time it is appropriate to host special events for your good Customers. Special events provide opportunities to meet face to face, sell products and to book additional business. Take advantage of stocking up on product specials and give-a-ways to keep product on hand and treat your Customers with. You might plan a special event once a quarter like: • Girls Night Out: Glam N Gloss (Do Makeovers and give free Gloss) • Charity & Coffee Saturday: They stop by with an unwrapped child’s toy for an orphanage/non-profit and you do a quick makeover for them. They are set for their day. • Nutty Buddy Party: Team up with another hostess, each invite guests, one brings snacks, one drinks and split the hostess gifts • Moms, Muffins and Makeovers: Hold in the morning the week kids go back to school. You can do one at your home and/or your customers home. • Makeovers and Mimosas or Margaritas: Hold for teachers at the end of summer - before “back to school.” • Lipstick and Lattes: A friendly ‘girlfriend-get-together.’ You could even hold this event at the corner coffee shop. • Beauty Beach Party: Plan in winter or summer and focus on Body Scrub, Polishing Exfoliator, Body Lotion, and Body Cream. • Makeover Club: Similar to a book club or Bunko club. Group rotates a new hostess once a month or every other month. Hostess gets to focus on one or two items: mask/night moisturizer or eye products or pedicure etc. Or, rotate teaching SeneBlends looks (found in your back office) • Mother/Daughter PJ Party: Moms and teenage daughters attend demo in PJ’s; have them all put on headbands, wash face, use Detoxifying Mask, then moisturize, apply LipVolumizer … the entire evening routine. Serve hot chocolate and smores. • Mother/Daughter Makeover Application Class/Sweet 16 Party: Teach the young ladies how to take care of their skin and appropriate current fashion trends. • Celebrity Make-Overs: friends gather to watch YouTube video makeovers and create a unique look using SeneGence Products. • Multiple Vendor Party: Invite non-competing product in Direct Sales - no more than 2 vendors to maximize sales. Offer free gift wrapping, drawings for prizes, special offers. Vendors guarantee at least ten guests from each vendor to event. • Mystery Hostess Party: Host a party at your own home and invite guests. One lucky customer will be chosen as the “hostess” and will receive the hostess gift. Theses are just a few of the hundreds of creative and fun events you can easily host to generate sales and future bookings. Just use your imagination!

High Traffic Opportunities

Preparing for high traffic Demo-ing opportunities is virtually the same as preparing for an in-house Demo, except that

you are going to need a lot more of everything, including inventory (refer to the section of this guide titled Glamour Demo Preparation for necessary tools and supplies). Here are some ideas for places you can easily schedule to hold Demos, events and presentations to generate large numbers of leads (which can turn into new Customers, Glamour Demo Hostesses and/or new Distributors) in your immediate area:

Conventions and Tradeshows

Generally, product sales to new Customers during conventions and trade shows do not allow sufficient time for Distributors to complete a Demo for the new Customer. Be sure to have your datebook handy so that you may book local new Customers for Glamour Demos. Collect contact information from the out of town leads and give them to SeneGence Distributors who live in those areas. Ask the SeneGence Distributor you give the referral to for a one-time payment of 10% of the Glamour Demo or SeneBlends Demo (whichever one is booked first) sales as your referral fee.

Girly Business Establishments

“Girly” Business Establishments are venues such as privately-owned salons, spas, dress shops and various business establishments that cater to a clientele of women and who may be opened to stocking SeneGence products. Distributors may sell products in these establishments or sponsor the business or individual within the business as SeneGence Distributors. Here’s how: • Call to Book Demo – Offer to share with them a percentage of the total sales. • Conduct Demo/Split Profits • Extend the SeneGence Choice: Customer or Distributor? If they become a Distributor they may have the Customers who purchase SeneGence products as their SeneGence Customers. This makes you sales income and adds another Distributor to your Downline. If the establishment chooses not to become a SeneGence Distributor, the leads are yours to keep.

Corporate Accounts

Don a business suit and heels and head for the corporate section of town. Place LipSense on back of hand as your calling card. Take with you: • Business cards • Date book • Many SeneGence Beauty Books • A single bright tester tube of LipSense Walk through any door - you are not soliciting as you are not there to sell. You are there to seek an appointment. If you see a receptionist or person who appears to be pleasant do the following: “Hello, my name is ________. I represent a company who markets its cosmetics to women in business because it increases employee productivity. (Wipe lips – offer hand for her to touch) Do you have a Human Resource Manager on staff? (If Yes) – Great! Will you please give her my card along with this Beauty Book, and would you mind if I put a touch of this color onto the back of your hand to show her. No one really believes it unless they see it. Anyway, please show this to her. I will call you tomorrow to see if she will agree to see me. I’d like to make a presentation to the women in this office. If she is not willing, perhaps we can get together after work and I can show it to the women who are interested in the product. I’ll call you tomorrow.” (If No or if the HR Manager is a Man) – “Oh, too bad. Would you mind if I put a touch of this color onto the back of your hand to show the women in this office? Perhaps we can get together after work and I can show it to the women who are interested in the product. I’ll call you tomorrow.”

The point is not to get the ‘account’ but to find a way to book a Demo with the women in the office. How many buildings are in your community where there are women who work during the day?

Charities

Charities are always looking for products and people to help them raise funds. Set appointments with those responsible for finding funding events and offer to teach their charity workers how to offer it to others. (Hold a Demo) Then, Partner for Profits. Allow the charity to spilt the profits. Wow! How much do you think a group of charity workers could sell? Perhaps the charity holds annual fundraisers. Offer to host a booth and split the proceeds sold during the event.

Community Activities & Festivals

Look for Community Activities and Festival opportunities in the local periodicals and papers advertising public events where individuals may pay a nominal fee to sell products or services. Events such as these can establish quite a following from one year to the next.

Women’s Networking Groups

Members of groups and organizations tend to support one another. That is what they are there to do. Prepare a brief presentation and be sure to extend a personal invitation for individual members to meet with you to teach them about your products. Volunteer to conduct a Group presentation using the SeneBlends Portfolio Booking method. They will be glad you did. Ask for referrals.

Open Houses

Ten Simple Steps

An Open House is easy to plan and execution is even easier when planning with another person. Here are ten simple steps to successful planning: 1. Set a date that is as far out from a holiday such as Valentine’s day, Mother’s day, Christmas, and Hanukkah (or other relevant celebrations) as possible before calendars book up. Set a beginning time and an ending time, or folks may drop by expecting the party to be in full swing while you’re in the middle of cleanup. • Hold all Open Houses prior to the last weekend before the Holiday date. • Scheduled time should include several hours. 2. Be aware of your guests when you plan entertainment. A non-secular holiday open house makes guests from

many different backgrounds comfortable. For example: If you celebrate Christmas, its fine to have a tree and decorations. Save caroling and other traditional Christmas rituals for a caroling party, when guests expect it-- or risk ostracizing people of different faiths. 3. Set the mood and level of formality with a theme. Will you hire a bartender and servers and offer a catered menu of gourmet goodies? Or do you prefer a casual, self-serve buffet with 6-foot heroes and a cooler full of drinks? Keep size in mind; do you want a small gathering of friends or a ‘stop-by-for-a-drink affair’ for the masses? 4. Create the menu. Time is valuable, especially at the holidays, so consider inviting a good Customer over to help with the food and let her earn credit towards product purchases. An additional plus is that she’ll see you in action and probably want to become a Distributor herself. 5. Set up a corner (away from ornaments and decorations) with toys for young children to play with. A monitor with an array of Children’s movies is highly recommended to keep them entertained. Their parents will be grateful that their kids are happily occupied--then they get to have fun, too. 6. Everybody wins. Determine door prizes. Always use company products and accessories to build future business. Prizes of nominal expense for great return are best. Section XIII – Demo Tips and Tools Demo Tips

From the moment you enter the home or office of a potential Customer or Distributor for a Demo, they watch you present the entire process of a Demo from start to finish. If it looks too complicated for them, it makes their decision all that more difficult to become a SeneGence Distributor. A person who is only of the mind to become a Customer certainly will not entertain the concept of becoming a SeneGence Distributor. Here are some tips that will help you make a good impression and maximize your sales and sponsoring efforts: • Make it look easy. Have an easy table of display product and applicator set up prepared. Inventory should be compact and organized. Clean up should be simple and quick. • Make it simple. Read through the Beauty Book Distributor Guide. Guests will notice how simple the Demo is to conduct. Have guests follow along in their own Beauty Books. Do not use extra unnecessary or expensive “doodads.” • Make it a sales and sponsoring event. As you read through the Beauty Book Distributor Guide, point out the features and benefits as though you are conducting a Sponsoring event. • Make it profitable. Give choices without pressure to make sales. Always carry plenty of inventory. • Make it continuous. Book additional SeneBlends Demos for you or Launch Demos for the new Distributor. • Make it a learning experience. Educate all Guests about SeneGence SeneDerm and SenseCosmetics and learn about each guest by asking questions. You may have one or more potential new Distributors at any one Demo.

Suggested sample products and supplies to be used as Demo Tools are available for sale only to SeneGence Distributors. These help a Distributor facilitate the sales of SeneGence products. The available options vary in price and change from time to time. Refer to the SeneGence Distributor Supply Order Form found in the SeneGence Distributor Back Office>Order>Supplies to order.

Up Sell with Sample Sizes

Include SeneDerm SkinCare packets or MakeSense Foundation tubes for those who did not purchase one or the other. SeneDerm Samples provides a great reason to up sell during the next day follow up phone call. Include a SeneGence Story DVD to further encourage a purchase. Refer to the SeneGence Distributor Supply Order Form found in the SeneGence Distributor Back Office>Order>Samples to view a list of all Sample Sizes available for purchase.

Disposable Applicators & Containers

SeneGence accessories are designed to compliment the SeneDerm and SenseCosmetics products and as marketing tools for the Distributors use. Include SeneGence accessories with product purchases where applicable. Use as gift-with-purchase incentives, Hostess gifts, door prizes, thank you gifts, or offer special pricing incentives with volume purchases to build good will and Customer retention. Customer Purchase Receipt

The Customer Purchase Receipt must be properly completed and given to purchasers of SeneGence products with each and every purchase. The Customer Purchase Receipt includes a Notice of Cancellation afforded to the purchaser by law. Just as important: The Customer Purchase Receipt is the only tool a Distributor has to thoroughly document the activity of each Demo. Over time, this information may be used as a way in which to measure the increased returns for the earning opportunities of a Demo. These statistics help Distributors to better identify areas on which to improve for greater returns. This is how: The Customer Purchase Receipt records guests who purchase products and how much they purchase. It also identifies those new Customers with their personal information to be added to your Customer base, SeneService E-Blast and your reorder system. The Customer Purchase Receipt helps identify Potential Distributors, bookings, ‘Partner for Profit’ possibilities, and reorder Customers. Any and all other information relating to the Customer should be written on the sales ticket, such as a notation that a SeneBlends Demo was determined. By completing the Customer Purchase Receipt, a Distributor may easily calculate, monitor and identify areas for improvement based upon the information recorded for each guest of the Demo and measure progress in each of the two earning opportunities: sales and sponsoring. Complete necessary entries prior to the Demo to save time at the Demo. Place one Customer Purchase Receipt, pen and Beauty Book with the SeneBlends Customer Profile for each guest prior at the start of the Demo. This is how to use the Customer Purchase Receipt to further enhance sales, booking, and sponsoring activities: Once you have asked the question to the group “Which choice have you made? Have you chosen to become a SeneGence Distributor or a SeneGence Customer?” ask each guest to announce to the group which choice they have chosen (This usually creates a lively conversation!). “Okay. Regardless of which choice you have made, please complete the rest of the information at the top of the Sales Ticket. I need it for my Demo records.” You had previously written their first names onto the sales ticket and checked the box indicating the lip color selection they now have on their lips. Requesting that each guest complete the Sales Ticket for your Demo records offers yet another opportunity for the guest to make choices. The Sales Ticket now becomes the tracking tool that helps you properly ‘Direct’ each guest based upon the choice they’ve made to become a Customer or a Distributor. Assist each guest, one at a time, in completing the rest of the Customer Purchase Receipt. For both Customers and New Distributors: • Check appropriate boxes for product purchases. • Check the corresponding boxes after asking the corresponding questions pertaining to Distributor information and interest to: • Receive company/Distributorship Information • Host a Demo (Glamour or SeneBlends) to receive free products. • E-mail for reorders. As you complete the Sales Tickets; • Book Demo time and dates. • Discuss ‘Partner for Profit’ and Outside Order opportunities. • Book SeneBlends Demo. • Instruct New Distributors to complete a Distributor Application. • Hand out more information where needed. Attention and instruction regarding the Customer Purchase Receipt clearly signifies the presentation portion of the Demo has concluded and signifies to the guests the transition from information gathering to decision making. It helps to make decision making process orderly, comfortable, and understandable.

For the Distributor, the Customer Purchase Receipt delineates a separation from teaching product, company, and sponsoring information to giving instruction to guests based upon choice options. SeneGence Media

SeneGence DVDs, CDs and flash drives help to make you more effective and professional. They help validate you, your career opportunity and your products. You will sponsor more and retain more Customers simply by making the use of these business practice (There are dozens of ways to use them). The SeneGence Story DVD is entertaining and educational. It is a professional tool that will help to facilitate your relationship with each guest. It is suggested that Customers/New Distributors view all information at a time when they can concentrate on the contents. They hear the information for the second time therefore better understand the benefits of the products and company. Distribute SeneGence media to your Customers and potential Distributors. They help to educate both Customers and potential Distributors about the products and the company. Often, you will find your Customers share them with others. Customers are a Distributor’s best source for new Customers. Customers who are committed to the products will spread the word and are a great source for referrals. If guests of Glamour Demos do not make a purchase decision, the SeneGence Story DVD will help them learn more about the product and SeneGence, while enhancing sales and probably encourage individuals to become a Distributor. New and Potential Distributors will appreciate viewing the Career Opportunity DVD. Record onto their Customer Purchase Receipt which audio/video tool you provided to each. Follow up with every person to whom you give a DVD or CD with a phone call, a purchase offer and an offer to train them as a Distributor. Retrieve the DVDs and CDs from your guests. SeneGence DVDs and CDs are included in NDK, GDK, and Lips Kit. Please see the appropriate kit check list to view what is included. Additionally, most video resources are available in the Back Office and on YouTube.

Paks

Paks are tools used to book future Demos, sponsor new Distributors and make additional product sales possible. They are an important tool essential to growing a business and should be a required handout at every event. Paks should be ordered to have on hand or pre-assembled.
