Menu 18th to 22nd of March
Message from the Head of School, David Monk I would like to thank those parents that came along to my meeting on Tuesday 6 March, to talk about innovation. It was a World Scholar's Cup small but committed group. In our very productive discussion we were already able to identify some areas that we can look to develop, including student self- reflections on the learner profile attributes within the reports, portfolios of student work, service learning oriented field trips and the importance of students identifying their strengths and passions. I will look for another meeting time when we can all get together to discuss this further.

IB Diploma Art Exhibition
Speed Art Exhibition
This March the DP Visual Art Diploma students will be hosting their annual exhibition 'The Mind Hive'. This art collective is to celebrate the work of the students that has been created during the past two years. The diverse and unique themes that the students have been working towards have made for stand- out pieces, trying to encapsulate the likes of Jean- Michel Basquiat and Anselm Kiefer to name but a few artist inspirations. The Art studio has been a hive of energy, which has been the product of research, experimentation and the meeting of creative minds.
During arts week, MYP students will be exploring the concepts of ?Speed Art?. The challenge is to create and complete an art work within a single session then display them within in our school. The inspiration for these works will come from a range of exciting contemporary artists. Watch out for the results during the week on the big blue display boards!
