Head of Sch ool , Dav i d Mon k Dear Families, I would like to welcome all of the new and returning families to the International School of London Qatar. It has been a great start to the new school year, and it is wonderful to feel the positive energy and enthusiasm that the students always bring to the school. This year we have welcomed 207 new students to the school, and 28 new staff, with 72 different nationalities represented within the school community. How could we not feel excited coming to school every day? As was the case last year, it is the intention that this weekly bulletin will be a simple update of events coming up in the week ahead. A full and comprehensive newsletter will be produced at the end of each month and sent home to you. In the first newsletter, due to be sent home on Thursday 27 September, we will send information about our new Mission Statement and a full report on our IB exam results. I do urge you to read these newsletters, as they will contain important information throughout the year about events happening in the school, and developments for the future. Click here to view the profiles of our new teaching staff. I am very excited about the year ahead and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to meet you all.

Sp eci al Th an k You We at ISL Qatar would like to thank AIDC and Mr. Wassim Salman, the parent of Noor, Rania and Rayyan for donating the marble which enhanced our reception area.

Not e Please note that we will have a photographer on campus next week (Sept 9th - 13th) to take general photos of our students and campus. These photos will be used for the school's website, social media, brochures, internal communication and other marketing purposes. If any parent wishes not to have their child photographed, please email Wesal Abdelbaset at wabdelbaset@islqatar.org.
