The Island Lake Access Road
Our road has become increasingly busy over the last few years and we now need to control traffic on it in order to keep everyone safe. This will also allow us to limit the number of people congregating around the lodge and some of our busy spots. As part of our plan to control road traffic, we will no longer be allowing bike shuttles to the lodge. The Lazy Lizard was built as an up and down trail and we ask that it be used as such. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
We Are Pet Friendly!
We understand that pets are part of your family and another valued guest at our unique property. When guests book a pet friendly room, it is outfitted with a premium dog bed, welcome letter, ceramic food and water bowls, tennis ball and ILL souvenir. At the side of our Bear Bistro patio is “pet parking” with plenty of fresh water after a big hike.
Covid Precautions The health and safety of our guests and staff has always been our first priority. Although our program may look a little different this summer, our commitment to the health and safety remains unchanged. COVID-19 safety procedures at Island Lake follow standards set by the Federal and Provincial Health Authorities, WorkSafeBC and Helicat Canada. Please read our COVID-19 Information for Guests We also have new lunch and dinner menus, a delicious new cocktail menu and a new spa menu further along in this publication. Keep reading!
We miss you and look forward to your visit this summer!
