The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) Association is pleased to announce the ISIC Past, Present & Future Creative Student Competition in recognition of the 60th Anniversary of the ISIC card.
What are we looking for? In 2013 the ISIC card will be turning 60, a significant milestone in student history and an opportunity to reflect on the possibilities for ISIC in the future. We want to hear from students the world over about what you think the future will hold for ISIC and students internationally. Help shape the future of ISIC! Take a look at the ISIC card’s unique history and aims and tell us how you think ISIC should develop over the next 60 years. We are looking for innovative, creative entries that capture what you think the future of ISIC will hold: • • • • •
How will ISIC change as technology changes? Will ISIC still prove your student status on plastic or other means? How will ISIC change as student life changes? What other great services will ISIC give students access to? Where else in the world will students have access to ISIC?
Or will ISIC be something much different? Tell us your ideas! Get creative! Entries are accepted in English, French, German or Spanish, and any medium: short film or documentary, illustration, painting, essay, audio documentary, song, photo essay, e-book, infographic, presentation or any other way you want to share your ideas for ISIC in the future!

About ISIC The ISIC Association is the non-profit organisation behind the International Student Identity Card (ISIC), the only internationally accepted proof of bona fide student status. First established by students in 1953, and endorsed by UNESCO since 1968, the ISIC card is now issued in 124 countries to over 4.5 million students each year, regardless of their nationality, race, gender or religion. Historically, the ISIC card provides students with access to exclusive discounts on travel opportunities, allowing cardholders to explore the world and discover new countries, cultures and languages. Today, the portfolio of services goes far beyond travel alone, allowing ISIC cardholders to gain preferential access to 40,000+ products, services or experiences that are relevant in student life. Since its conception almost 60 years ago, the ISIC card has allowed more than 100 million students to engage in opportunities, services and experiences otherwise not available to them.
