The grandeous main entry way on the street level is plated in tall anodozed bronze metal trim , emphasizing the height of the event space it leads to. The antique mirror above the elevator doorsadds to the elegance and ambiance of the lobby. Tucked away to the rght of the lobby is the multilevel coat check. The ceiling of the lobby is an almost square textured translucent plastic with The Glasshouse logo engraved, spaced evenly thoughout the lobby.

6TH FLOOR - POP-UP THEATRICAL & MECHANICAL CEILING A 34 foot high theatrical ceiling sets the stage for large events at The Glasshouse. With 50 winches and 6 motorized trusses carrying the majority audiovisual load, the large void houses the main theatrical components. It is layered wit mechanical ducts that branch out into the entrie floor. Beneath the ducts lies secondary steel to support proposed and additional equipment.

RED HOOK PUBLIC LIBRARY Designed with natural daylight in mind the proposal for the Red Hook Public Library’s casing is angled and peeling to accomodate for maximun controlled daylight. Zones are provided for safe-keeping for books on shelves while reading areas are illuminated. The exterior green area of the library functions as a play area, reading zone, even a comunity stage.
