Achievements

Professional Was part of the team of three that won the Agakhan competition project for mixed use development project in Mazgaon, Mumbai in 2014 at P.G. Patki architects. Academic Architectural Thesis chosen as one of the representative entry of the college for NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture ), 2012. Led a team of three for the HUDCO (Housing and development co-operation ) for the NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture ) in 2010 and won citations for the same. Was part of the team of three for the Louis.I. Khan trophy (L.I.K) in 2010 for NASA which won the trophy. Selection of working drawings and building construction drawings for Rueben’s trophy (part of NASA competition)in the year 2009, representing the college for the same.

Other interests Hosted Annual NASA (National Association of Schools of Architecture), the largest Architectural Student Organization in the world with student participants from more than two hundred colleges all over India and countries around the world. Created public installation art work for Kala Ghoda art festival, Mumbai in 2010. Created installation art work for Bandra art festival in 2011 at Khar Danda fishing village to raise awareness about the need for historical preservation of this village. 3

3D PRINTING CONTINUOUS FORMS tutor : Rob- stuart smith, kokkugia studio This was one of the first workshops conducted in the masters program. The objective of the brief provided was the creation of an integrated continuous mainfold object,that could be 3D printed and be assembled into a seamless form. This workshop was a means to explore the 3d printing process as well the process of creating larger objects using joint systems. The various steps undertaken in the modelling process are detailed in the adjacent diagram.

Patrik schumacher , zaha hadid architects team : ishan vora, fernando alvarenga, nastasja mitrovic the site for this thesis project was a 400m x100m plot surrounding shoreditch high street station. the brief is a reaction to the collage like condition of the london skyline wherein individual highrise structure dominate the landscape without any connection to each other. the aim was to create a kind of visual connectivity to the rest of london and porosity via voids. 10

the masterplanning of the site was based on the vector fields generated on the basis of site demographics. the objective was to create multiple touchdown points so as to manoeuver around the heritage structures already existing on site.

grandeur restaurant, sameep padora and associates architects : sameep padora (lead architect), ishan vora location : pune, India status : built (2012) area : 3300 sq.ft.

individal duties : design detailing, 3d modelling and rendering with rhino, detail drawings,physical modelling and presentation drawings. the restaurant plans incorporates fluid formal expressions in order to incorporate water bodies and increase seating area.the central bar area fluidly transitions into the mezzanine seating area.

the agakhan redevelopment project is an project that spans over two sites. the project was a competition project that was won by the team of three operating under the lead architect. the project is located in a central location within mumbai, india. it is aimed at relocating the ismaili community that was based on the site. it is phased to be completed within 10 years with the first phase including the demolishing of existing structures and building of temporary habitation on site for the residents. the design is aimed at creating towers that provide gardens at every alternate floor so that every resident has access to a garden in a city like mumbai where space is at premium and there is shortage of green areas.the project ncluded • two 50- storey towers

hospital the proposed hospital has a built -up area of 71,750 sq.m. it is a mixed use, 650 bed hospital which includes opd, natal care units, an intensive care unit as well as day care facilities. the hospital is planned in two phases with a construction time frame of 10 years. this is a part of the redevlopment project. individual duties : conceptual design, planning, presentation drawings, facade designing, 3d modelling, detail drawings, conceptual interior designing.

jamat khana community religious structure pattern development for the facade

view of the jamat khana from the entrance the religious structure formed the center of the redevelopment project. the patterning was based on geometrical patterns found generally in islamic structures. the pattern was developed by a circular rotation of a six-pointed star and continuous fractalization of the result. 35

this project is a specialty hospital for gastroentrology which is currently being built in hyderabad, india. the hospital incorporates a large central atrium, with a very large and welcoming entrance lobby. individual duties : conceptual planning, presentation drawings, 3d modelling ,detailed planning, detailed drawings for construction.

The project includes an auditorium, open air amphitheater and conference center. The auditorium has a 750 seating capacity. The conference center houses a 150 Capacity conference hall. Accommodation of 5 rooms is provided for the theatre artists.
