ACWN Newsletter | May 2009 Home Girls! Wow what a drawing! We had our Lucky Lady drawing for prize package #2 “Home Girl”. This package was chock full of the GOOD stuff! And, to tell us all about it, 3 of our own members and donors of the packages filled us in on all the wonderful benefits. First up was Corinne Thorsell, Marketing Executive Melaleuca. She shared the marvelous products that Melalueca has, to clean our homes safely. The basket of goodies was full of surprises! Corinne filled us in on how much we are being bombarded with toxic products on the market today. Toothpaste, skin lotions, deodorant, makeup and cleaning products just to name a few. Then she shared what was in the basket and how each product works. Corinne conducted a demonstration with a photograph. Sharon Stanley marked with a sharpie on the photo and Corinne cleaned the mark from the photo without harming the picture! The main ingredient of the product line is Tea Tree Oil. It was a very informative talk. Marie Wiens shared with us a beautiful lamp that she donated to the raffle. It was from the Pine Grove Mercantile. Marie shared with us that she has closed the store and we will all MISS it very much!! I’m sure that I can speak for all of us in wishing Marie much success in her next endeavor, she will be great at whatever she chooses! Sharon Stanley shared with us some design tips and informed us as to how easy it is to retain her services to “spiff up” our homes. She does consultations to help decorate your home, conduct home staging to sell your house, and even a “re” decoration using items you already have in new and interesting ways. AND she added a $100 gift certificate to Home Goods to the Lucky Lady winner! And the prize goes to.....Deb Mathia! Page 1
