Built in 1909 at the intersection of Contentnea & Wilson Streets Started as a stable; when the business began horses & buggies were in high demand due to lack of trains in the area Traveling salesmen would come to get supplies After 73 years, it then served the Farmville community under the name R.L. Smith & Company selling farm supply products The building has been passed down through 3 generations of Smiths Now owned by Bert Smith & his family

T a p House Concept A tap house is not just a bar. It’s a place to discover various craft beers. Customers can engage in conversation, culture, and be introduced to new flavors. These customers can explore parts of the world they may never travel to just by trying new and exotic beers. The town of Farmville is a small town and deserves to have a place people can go to and explore ad engage in conversation. A tap house is the perfect place for that. It also contributes to shopping local and supporting the community.
