humans of fenway/ kenmore

isabella whitehill

This past summer, I happened to go to a Flume concert at the House of Blues the same night as a Red Sox home game. As we waited to get in, friend and I began trying to guess who was headed to the concert, and who was heading to Fenway, which has an entrance directly across the street from that of the House of Blues. We were amazed by how easy it was. This project is a taxonomy of the various groups of people present in the Fenway/Kenmore Square area of Boston at any given time. It shows where drastically different people come into close contact, how the spaces around Fenway/Kenmore are used by these different kinds of people, and most importantly, where these uses overlap, which is what creates the complexity and diversity of this unique area of Boston.
