ALL VENDORS: Please provide all insurance and food certification certificates when submitting this application.
Day parking permits are will be received after arriving. Only loading and unloading is allowed at the loading dock for approximately 10-15 minutes. Ground transportation on an electric cart will be provided for any vendor who needs it from their car to the University Student Union (where the event will be held). Parking Directions will be faxed when application is received and processed. The approval of all items to be sold or vendor representation is at the sole discretion of the University Student Union Program Council. SALSA BOWL RULES: • Your restaurant must provide some kind of salsa. • Your restaurant cannot use vouchers/coupons to encourage votes. (However you can use them to market and promote your restaurant.) • Your restaurant must stay within your designated booth area. • Your restaurant must bring some sort of item with your salsa. (i.e. tortilla chips, bread, and etc.) • Your restaurant may not check the scoreboard to see if your restaurant is winning. • Your restaurant must not leave your both unattended. • Your restaurant cannot leave earlier than 2pm. • Your restaurant must provide a prize for raffling. • Your restaurant must only allow students with orange vouchers to try your salsa.
LEGAL RELEASE: That the applicant and other persons, organizations, firms or corporation on whose behalf the application is make, by filing such application do represent, stipulate, contract and agree that they jointly and severely indemnify and holds harmless the USU Program Council, Associated Students, Incorporated, and California State University, Long Beach the State of California, and their perspective officers, agents and employees harmless against liability for any and all claims for damage to property, or injury to, or death of persons arising out of or resulting from the issuance of this permit, and/or table operations on the day of event as well as lost, damaged, or stolen items resulting from vending.
