Global Design Porfolio
Fent Boca shows craftsmanship, tradition and Mediterranean cuisine in Barcelona. Product packaging that includes exterior and interior packaging and furniture sales, designed for mobility and tourists flow who come to visit Barcelona, where we offer them a complete kit (and different for each district) with materials, textures and, above all, the flavors from a city rooted in its origins.
This project is a real time, real size and on the go infographic based on answers given by the public passing by a space of transit (public or not). Answers ranging from opinions, to levels of optimism, age or even the colour of pyjamas create a graphic stream of data flow which is collected over 24 hours.
Domestic Data Streamers
Domestic Data Streamers is a collective of designers and researchers from Barcelona. We develop and propose new methods centered in co-creation and interaction based on a quotidian language and tangible experience. Real time and in a physical space data installations within a visual narrative.
Espace Inutile is a consecutive project about research, imitation-mimesis, compaction and expansion of full spaces and empty spaces. An architectural project of experimentation that is based on the creation of spaces “useless (3) having a harmonic language between them. (1) Geometry of Chance A volume by chance: the repetition of a module mounted arbitrarily leads to an empty space, a random geometry, architecture unnecessary (2) Expansion and Tension What is built is destroyed, what is destroyed is built. Disintegration and contraction of formulas tend to dissipate, disperse and magnets. (3) Fraction and Readability This does not reproduce the visible, it makes visible. A fracture of any part of a whole, this space reveals forms and the independent quantifiable.
I am Irene Ródenas, a young global designer born in 1992 in Barcelona, within a pretty Olympic Games. When I started my degree in “Elisava Escola Superior de Disseny” I didn’t know anything about my future, but after four years (and not enough) of hard work I have developed lots of skills as a designer and a researcher, and I have learnt that life is a road trip of knowledge. I’m now sure of myself in all areas of design, and I am willing to try all types of projects.
