- Child Protection Systems
With DG Connect, we were able to meet in two occasions and additionally to have a representative from DG Connect as a panellist for the Human Rights Generation Conference. Additionally, we were able to reply to several consultation processes lunched by DG Connect and approach them with direct comments to the AVMS Directive.

DG Justice was met and consulted on several occasions, regarding the situation with Children of Alcoholics in Europe and the European Forum on the Rights of the Child.
Active has educated over 100 persons in political questions through its activities, seminars and workshops : The Do it Yourself programme, the summer camps Heartbeat in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Wild in Switzerland, UNF Congress in Boras in 2013, the seminar (Not) so different in London, the seminar Change the Change in Estonia, Policy days in Brussels in December 2013 and the European Youth Event in May 2014.

„Active educates 100 people in political questions“
Our cooperation with DG Sanco has been mostly in the form of meetings and written communication, especially on following the developments in the EU regarding the EU Alcohol Strategy and our decision to leave the European Alcohol and Health Forum. „Active has a group of 10 active lobbyists from different Member Organizations, experts on alcohol policy that can represent the organization“ During the summer camp in Bosnia we formed up a pool of lobbyists with more than 20 experts that were trained in alcohol policy and how to represent Active in political work. This group has represented Active in over 40 policy related events and has been spreading Active’s core values and lobbying for our prioritized policy areas in Europe.
Active has followed the policy consultations EU and United Nations level and has also taken some steps to improve its branding and credibility. Active applied for ECOSOC Consultative status to be able to take part in more consultations coming from the United Nations and got granted. In addition, Active applied for a Consultative Status within the Council of Europe. We also entered the European Transparency register and obtained accreditation badges to the European Parliament for three members of the Policy group. Active was also won the prize within the European Charlemagne Youth Prize competition, organized by the European Parliament, where the Human Rights Generation campaign was voted as the best project from Sweden. Active had applied for membership in the Vienna NGO Committee on Drugs, Irefrea, EPHA and Eurochild.Ultimately, Active has taken a leading role in structuring the work of the European INGYOs on European level and participated in the European Youth Event, organized by the European Youth Forum and the European Parliament. Some of the consultations we have contributed to are: - Public Consultation on the Independence of Regulatory Bodies (DG Connect) - two Inputs to the Structured Dialogue Consultation on the topic of Social Inclusion (Third Cycle of Consultations, Second Round, under the Lithuanian Presidency and Third Round, under the Greek Presidency), - Consultation on the overall theme of the Forth Cycle of the Structured Dialogue (upcoming Trio-Presidency of the European Council, Latvia-Italy - Luxembourg). - Consultation on Non-Formal Education (European Youth Forum)
