CEO FOREWORD Dear Customer, Welcome to this edition of Inzozi inflight magazine. I would like to thank you all for choosing to fly RwandAir. It is always an immense pleasure to have you onboard. I wish you a very pleasant flight in the company of our qualified crew and enjoy the top class services that RwandAir has to offer. The past months have been exciting, here at RwandAir. We always had plans of expanding our network both on the African continent and around the world. We have been working very hard to turn this into reality. 2017 brought great news as the first phase finally came to fruition. In April, we celebrated the beginning of our new routes to Mumbai and Harare. The maiden flights to Mumbai and Harare took off on 4th April and 5th of April respectively. The flight to Harare is operating four times weekly and is tagged to the existing Lusaka (Zambia) route, while the flight to Mumbai operates directly, four times per week using respectively our very young fleet of Bombardier and Boeing Next Generation, which offer state of the art comfort cabin. The new route of Mumbai and Harare take our ever growing network to twenty-one (21) destinations. The new routes will help in good cooperation between Rwanda and the two countries and boost the economy and tourism opportunities for those countries.

I am pleased to announce that the second phase of our plans to spread our wings is under way. We are flying to London, effective 26th of May and later this year other routes will follow, which include Guangzhou (China), Conakry (Guinea), Bamako (Mali) and Dakar (Senegal). In addition, I am happy to share with you that we are also expecting to receive a brand new state of the art Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, which will be a great addition to our expanding fleet of eleven (11) aircraft. With brand new and spacious aircrafts, we will therefore boost our capability to successfully carry out our operations to the new and exciting destinations with great comfort and care to our very esteemed customers. I would like to thank the RwandAir staff for their hard work and professionalism in providing the best services that our customers deserve and keeping the company’s good reputation in accordance to world standards.
