ONE PUMPKIN PIE FALL SMOOTHIE

For your pumpkin spice pleasure this fall, try this super healthy and organic smoothie recipe. It’ll cure that need for your pumpkin flavor without all the extra sugar and calories!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup almond milk 1 teaspoon agave syrup 1 cup pumpkin puree 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 apple, cored Dried cranberries

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients except cranberries in blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with cranberries!

two HEALTHY FRUIT AND OATMEAL SMOOTHIE

This one’s so great, it’s got the Martha Stewart seal of approval. One of her most pinned smoothies, this works as a great breakfast on the go!

INGREDIENTS

three KALE SMOOTHIE

For all you green people out there, this kale based smoothie is a delicious vegan treat that keeps summer alive, even in the coldest of fall and winter months.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup coconut milk 2 cups stemmed and chopped kale or spinach 1 1/2 cups chopped pineapple (about 1/4 medium pineapple) 1 ripe banana, chopped

DIRECTIONS

Combine ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Add water if necessary for preferred consistency.

four AVOCADO SMOOTHIE This wonderful tasting smoothie is avocado based, and good for any time of year. For all you avocado lovers out there, this will keep your cravings satisfied, and your stomach full.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled 1/2 large banana 1/4 cup (60g) low-fat vanilla yogurt 1/4 cup ice (about 2 cubes), plus more for serving 3/4 to 1 can (125ml) coconut water, depending on your preferred thickness 1 tsp agave nectar (light or dark) 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling

DIRECTIONS

five PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA SMOOTHIE Probably my personal favorite, this smoothie is the best quick-lunch fix I’ve ever had. Easily made, and super delicious, it tastes like the sandwiches mom used to make you for school, but in a healthy smoothie!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled 10 ounces skim milk or plain soy milk 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter 1 medium banana

DIRECTIONS

In a blender, combine all ingredients and mix until smooth. Place ice cubes in as desired for thicker consistency.
