LONDON TRANSPORT INFORMATION

The Victory Services Club is located near Marble Arch - Oxford Street. Address: 63-79 Seymour Street. London W2 2HF. The nearest underground station is Marble Arch Tube on the Central Line; and the nearest rail station is Paddington. Though easilly accessible from all the other ones such as Marylebone, Charing Cross, Victoria, Waterloo, Euston, Farringdon, Moorgate and King's Cross St Pancras.

HOW TO GET THERE - HEATHROW AIRPORT Heathrow Airport by Tube - The Underground The Piccadilly line connects Heathrow Airport to Central London and the rest of the Tube system. The Tube is cheaper than the Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect but it takes a lot longer and is less comfortable. Tube services leave Heathrow every few minutes from approximately 5am (5.50am Sundays) to 11.45pm (10.50pm Sundays). Journey time to Piccadilly Circus is about 50 minutes. There are three Tube stations at Heathrow Airport, serving Terminals 1-3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. A single paper ticket from Heathrow (Zone 6) into Central London (Zone 1) costs £5.00 (£4.50 on Oyster). If

you're going to be using London's public transport system, it's worth buying an Oyster card. You have two options:  Get the Piccadily Line (Navy Blue) to Central London and change in Holborn Station to the Central Line (Red Line) direction West – Ealing Boadway or West Ruislip; after 4 Stations you will be at MARBLE ARCH STATION; after that follow the map, it will take 5 minutes walking to arrive at VSC.  Get the Piccadily Line (Navy Blue)

Station to the the District Line (Green Line) direction Edgware Road; after 2 Stations, at Notting Hill Gate change again, get the Central Line (Red) direction East - Epping; you will be at MARBLE ARCH STATION in few minutes; after that follow the map, it will take 5 minutes walking to arrive at VSC.

Heathrow Airport by Train - Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect The nearest rail station is Paddington. Though easilly accessible from all the other ones such as Marylebone, Charing Cross, Victoria, Waterloo, Euston, Farringdon, Moorgate and King's Cross St Pancras. £16.50 for a single ticket purchased online (£18 if bought from the ticket machine at Heathrow Airport and £23 if purchased onboard). Operating 150 services every day, Heathrow Express reaches Heathrow Central (Terminals 1 and 3) from Paddington in 15 minutes, with Terminal 5 a further four minutes. A free transfer service to Terminal 4 departs Heathrow Central every 15 minutes and takes four minutes. The Heathrow Connect services run from London Paddington, calling at Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Hanwell, Southall, Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow Central (Terminals 1 and 3). For Terminals 4 and 5, there's a free Heathrow Express transfer service from Heathrow Central. Heathrow Connect journey time is 25 minutes from Paddington to Heathrow Central and adult tickets cost £8.50 single or £16.50 return. When you arrive at Paddington Station, really near the Venue; click here to see the map; or take a Bus, have a look in the options here; it will take around 10-15 minutes walking or by Bus.

Heathrow Airport by Bus - National Express or Normal Bus Line Heathrow Airport by Coach National Express runs frequent coach services between Heathrow's central bus station and Victoria Coach Station. The journey takes between 40 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the route. Some services stop en route in Hammersmith or Earl's Court. Standard tickets cost £5 single or £9 return. Services from Heathrow commence around 5.30am and run until 9.30pm. Coaches from Victoria leave from around 7.15am until 11.30pm. It's advisable to check details of the service and book in advance, particularly at weekends or peak times. Also, allow plenty of time in case of road delays. Heathrow Airport By Bus Between midnight and 5.30am, the N9 night bus runs every 30 minutes to Central London (Trafalgar Square). Journey time is approximately 65 minutes. Heathrow Airport by Taxi - Cab There are usually taxis queuing for customers at London's airports. Ask the driver or minicab company how much your journey will cost beforehand. Only use a black cab or reputable minicab and never use unauthorised drivers. A metered trip in a black cab to/from Central London generally cost from £50 to £80 and take 30 minutes to 1 hour. All Heathrow Terminals have an approved taxi desk and authorised taxi rank. Visit the Heathrow Taxis website. HOW TO GET THERE - LONDON GATWICK AIRPORT

Gatwick Airport by Train - Gatwick Express, First Capital Connect and Southern Railway The Gatwick Express is the fastest way into Central London. There are trains every 15 minutes between Gatwick Airport's South Terminal and London Victoria Station every day from 4.35am to 1.35am. Standard fares are £17.90 single and £30.80 return. Journey time is 30 minutes and the service is non-stop to Victoria station. You can also get the First Capital Connect train to London Bridge, Blackfriars and St Pancras stations. Trains leave approximately every 30 minutes. A standard adult single is £9.40. The journey to London Bridge takes 40 minutes. Southern Railway has two trains per hour during the day between Gatwick and London Bridge. The journey time is 52 minutes. A standard single ticket costs £7.90. Gatwick Airport by Coach - National Express or Easy Bus National Express runs frequent services between Gatwick and Victoria Coach Station. Coaches run approximately hourly. Journey time varies according to route, most are about 1 hour 20 minutes. Some services stop at Hooley, Wallington, Mitcham Junction, Mitcham London Rd, Streatham, Stockwell and Pimlico. Standard fares are £7.50 single or £14 return. See the National Express website easyBus also offers a high-frequency, low-cost express bus service between Gatwick Airport and Earls Court/West Brompton. After arrive at Victoria Station When you arrive in Victoria Station you can get the Tube, Bus or Taxi to go to VSC. if you're going to be using London's public transport system, it's worth buying an Oyster card. Underground  Get the Victoria Line (Blue) to Central London (direction North – Walthamstow), change in Oxford Circus Station to the Central Line (Red Line) direction West – Ealing Boadway or West Ruislip; soon you will be at MARBLE ARCH STATION; after that follow the map, it will take 5 minutes walking to arrive at VSC. By Bus (Around 16-20 minutes)  Take the Route Bus 36 from Stop: Htowards Queen’s Park or Route Bus 436 from Stop: H towards Paddington (Pay before you board) until Marble Arch / Edgware Road Stop: E (Ask the Driver)  Walk to VSC - 2 minutes By Taxi - Cab You also can get a Taxi; only use a black cab or reputable mini-cab and never use unauthorised drivers. The main taxi rank is in Terminus Place, just outside the main entrance to the station. There is a second taxi rank upstairs at the Plaza exit in Victoria Place.

HOW TO GET THERE - LONDON STANSTED AIRPORT Stansted Airport by Rail – Stansted Express Stansted Express is the quickest way into Central London (Liverpool Street station). Trains leave Stansted Airport from 6am to 11.59pm (from 5.30am to 12.30am, Friday to Monday). Trains run every 15 minutes (every 30 minutes for the earliest and latest trains Friday to Monday). Standard fares are £20 single and £27.30 for return (online prices). Journey time is 45 minutes and trains stop at Tottenham Hale station before terminating at Liverpool Street station.

After arrive at Liverpool Station When you arrive in Liverpool Station the easiest way to go to VSC is to get the Underground. if you're going to be using London's public transport system, it's worth buying an Oyster card. Stansted Airport by Coach – EasyBus, National Express or Terravision easyBus offers a high frequency, low-cost express bus service between Central London and Stansted Airport. The service operates day and night and journey time is 1 hour and 15 minutes direct and non-stop to London (Baker Street). Prices start at £2 (online price) one way. Book online and early for the best prices. Visit the easyBus website. National Express operates a 24 hour service to Victoria Coach Station with one of the stops at MARBLE ARCH. Journey time is one hour and 40 minutes. This service runs at intervals of up to an hour. Standard tickets cost £10 single/£17 return. Visit the National Express website Terravision offers a low cost coach service into Central London from Stansted Airport. Terravision runs a non-stop service to Victoria Coach Station and a route to Liverpool Street Station. Visit the Terravision website Stansted Airport by Taxi The official Stansted taxi concession is Checker Cars. Black cabs do not operate from Stansted although you can catch one to the airport. HOW TO GET THERE - EUROSTAR AND EUROTUNNEL You will arrive at London St Pancreas International Station. The easiest way to go to VSC is to get the Underground: if you're going to be using London's public transport system, it's worth buying an Oyster card. BY CAR The easiest way is to get directions at Google maps; VSC address is 63-79 Seymour Street. London W2 2HF. Car Park VSC has parking arrangements near by with Q-Park Park Lane for their underground car park in Park Lane. Edgware Road & Park Lane is outside the Congestion Charge Zone (providing Members enter the Car Park via the Park Lane entrance). When entering the Car Park via Park Lane, Members should collect their ticket upon entry and drive through the Car Park to the Marble Arch end, from which they can exit the Car Park on foot in Marble Arch, close to the VSC. If you have any difficulties or the discount appears not to have been applied, speak to the parking attendants who are on duty 24 hours a day at the pay point stating that you are a VSC guest, and they will apply the discount for you. The new service also offers a free Park & Ride shuttle bus from Park Lane/ Marble Arch car park to Oxford Street and Bond Street.
