A C C L has done a fantastic job in creating I’ C, the first mixed-use development project near Yaowarat Road, the main artery of Bangkok’s historic Chinatown. Famous for its bustling market alleys and internationally acclaimed street food and dining scene, the area is one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in Bangkok offering a unique scene of authentic Chinese-Thai heritage and cultures. Conveniently located adjacent to the Wat Mangkon MRT station, I’ C is easily accessible through the city’s rail network. The project consists of a four-storey retail mall, residential condominiums and a 224-key hotel operated by ASAI Hotel. Each component is carefully linked through a green lawn at the central atrium, providing guests with
convenience without compromising on privacy. Inspired by the rich culture and history of the Chinatown area, the interior design celebrates locally sourced materials and craftsmanship, which seamlessly blends traditional Chinese and Thai elements with contemporary architecture. Home to over 60 local and international brands, the mall offers an eclectic range of boutique shops and dining options which suits all types of lifestyles. Shoppers can also enjoy a wellness stopover after roaming in the busy district, as well as live band performances, festivities, and other community events. As part of the development, ASAI Bangkok Chinatown is scheduled to open in late 2020. ASAI is an Asian-inspired collection of hotels under Dusit International, designed to link millennial-minded travellers with authentic local experiences.
