Introduction: Hypertension is recognized as an important cardiovascular risk factor. Although it is already known that the quality of a diet is fundamental to preventing and treating hypertension, it is still unclear which dietary method is more effective. Objective: The aim of this study was to compare anthropometric and dietary parameters between 2 groups interventions in dietary pattern. Methods: One received an interdisciplinary intervention (intervention group) and the other a standard nutritional intervention (control group). The intervention group comprised 14 individuals, while the control group comprised 10, totaling 24 obese and hypertensive individuals treated at a cardiology institution for 3 months.
