The Letter of Intent signed by IAA Vice-President Mariusz Gliwiński and Katara Cultural Village General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti.
During the exhibition, the Katara Cultural Village foundation and the International Amber Association signed a Letter of Intent to jointly promote amber in Qatar and the countries of the Middle East. The Letter’s signatories declared an exchange of experience and materials, participation from experts, along with collaboration in education, publishing and cultural promotion associated with amber, its history and contemporary design. The next steps and further agreements will be aimed at consolidating the collectors’ market and at facilitating tests and certification at the Qatar centre using the know-how and experience of the Gdańsk Amber Laboratory established by the IAA.

Podczas targów Fundacja Katara Cultural Village oraz Międzynarodowe Stowarzyszenie Bursztynników podpisały list intencyjny w celu wspólnej promocji bursztynu w Katarze i krajach Bliskiego Wschodu. Partnerzy listu zadeklarowali wymianę doświadczeń, materiałów oraz udział specjalistów, a także współpracę na polu edukacji, publikacji i promocji kultury związanej z bursztynem, jego historią oraz współczesnym wzornictwem. Kolejne działania oraz dalsze umowy mają wzmocnić rynek kolekcjonerski oraz pomóc w badaniu i certyfikacji w ośrodku w Katarze z wykorzystaniem know-how i doświadczenia Gdańskiego Laboratorium Bursztynu założonego przez MSB.
Katara Cultural Village
Katara Cultural Village w Dosze to cały nowo wybudowany obszar miasta poświęcony kulturze. Została otwarta w 2010 roku, lecz budowa kolejnych etapów i obiektów wciąż trwa. Mieszczą się tam muzea, galerie, siedziby organizacji, sale teatralne i koncertowe, amfiteatr, plaża oraz wiele restauracji i miejsc do ciekawego spędzania czasu.
Katara Cultural Village in Doha is an entire newly-built area of the city dedicated to culture. It opened in 2010 but the construction of new phases and buildings is still ongoing. It includes museums, galleries, head offices of organisations, theatre and concert halls, an amphitheatre, a beach, along with many restaurants and places to spend your free time in an interesting way.
Kolejne targi Katara Kahraman odbędą się w dniach 09-11 stycznia 2020 w salach wystawienniczych Katara Cultural Village. Organizator potwierdza bardzo duże zainteresowanie wystawców.
The next Katara Kahraman Exhibition will be held on 09-11 January 2020 at the exhibition halls of Katara Cultural Village. The organiser has confirmed great interest on behalf of the exhibitors.
