In the dynamic and ever-evolving design industry, Pushpika has learned a lot from her peers over the course of time. The deeprooted and culturally rich community taught her to stay true to herself and her vision.

Her journey so far-

S

he has worked on projects ranging in size from 150 to 1200 square feet, and they all require the same level of attention to detail - the only difference is the size of the job. She says when create your client’s vision for their dream home into reality, there’s a rush and excitement that comes with it. It’s crucial to layer and mix up your styles every now and then and in order to grow, one must step outside of their comfort zone and try new things. Her clientele is diverse and unique and her job entails on being able to filter her client’s vision through her lens. Currently, she working on a french classical interior scheme for a residence and she love curating intricate details for it. According to her, it is a great experience when you take your time, absorb what makes you happy and implement it.

Delhi has strong Mughal and colonial references. If change were possible, she would focus more on finding a way to connect the city’s various characteristics in a way that exemplifies what the city currently represents by fusing the past with the present in order to look to the future with optimism.

Her advice for young aspiring architectsKeep being curious, taking risks and experimenting is the only way to grow. n
