Paris 2, Paris 4, pigment print on fiber paper. Paris is a series of photographs that explores the perspective of the tourist and their role as an outsider removed from the reality of the destinations they try to experience. The vantage point is both literally and conceptually employed. Coey is interested in the possibilities and limitations inherent to the photographic medium. She is a Montrealbased artist currently pursuing a BFA in Photography at Concordia.
