was seven years old when she first started working as an actress in films. Her early experience in film and its power as a story telling medium inspired her to become a director. In 2008, Löwenhardt graduated with honours as a European Media Master of Arts. This is her diploma film.
S imon E llis
graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1995, specialising in Fine Art photography. His short films have received many international awards and have been presented collectively in retrospective programmes at over a dozen film festivals worldwide.
was born in Moscow and first trained as an actor at the renowned Russian Shepkin Theatre School. He later attended the scriptwriting workshop at A.Mitta Film School and has studied higher courses in filmmaking and scriptwriting in Moscow. Papalsya is his first fiction film.
