One of the new eyecatching features of the site is the carousel. Highlighting news, fresh features and updates on events, this fully customisable tool can be set to filter homepage content of your choice.

Earlier this year the BikeBiz Bible returned to print for the first time in five years, following high demand from the trade. Now, alongside the new site, the Bible has gone online to provide an essential resource to the trade.

Integral to the site, the news capabilities of BikeBiz.com have been enhanced with improved visuals, more feeds gathering essential cycle news from respected sites on the web and more links to social media sites.

Launched as a Beta site last month, the cutting edge site is being refined using trade feedback. BIKEBIZ.COM

The ever-popular Forum has been given an update with a host of new features (see page 46). The Forum remains trade-only, and the key place online for the cycle trade to exchange ideas, tips, insults and much more.

YOU’VE TINKERED, you’ve played and hopefully you’ve been impressed with the brand new BikeBiz.com. Launched as a Beta site last month, the cutting edge portal is continually being refined with the help of the cycle trade and its feedback – directed mostly through the new Forum (see page 34).

The focal point of the site is the Home stream, channelling all the content uploaded to the site – News, Features, Events, Jobs – which can now be customised by the reader (see above). Trade participation has always been an integral part of BikeBiz.com, with the Forum a vibrant section of the site where the industry can debate and

converse. Continuing that theme, the new site has reintroduced the ability to comment on articles – providing you have registered, ensuring only trade members participate on BikeBiz.com. The Marketplace section has been overhauled so that everyone registering with the site can give their company a

basic listing – with a paid for premium option allowing you to add a full company profile and extensive contact details for a six or 12 month period. And that’s not all – there are new look Daily Digest and Newsflash emails, an evolving Jobs board and plenty more in the proverbial pipeline. Stay tuned to BikeBiz.com for more.
