Great Western Inks launch

Great Western Inks recently launched the Intec range at their Portland corporate office. The GWI sales force came in from around the north west USA, to attend the sales launch. Traditionally, GWI’s customer base has been the offset, ‘print for pay’, commercial printer, to whom they supply offset consumables and of course inks that they mix themselves. Keith Voigt, the owner of Great Western Inks, sees an opportunity to

use the Intec printers as their vehicle to help them penetrate deeper and wider into their customer base with a digital print offering. GWI is impressed with our product line and the sales team is fired up. We expect big things from them!

Already, GWI has a CS5600XF and CP3300 in their Portland showroom. If you’re based in the north west and would like to discuss Intec products, please see their website: http://www.gw-inks.com/contact.html

training visit Prompts open house

Classic Business Solutions gear up for an Intec Open House event. Mike Sparbeck, Intec US C.O.O., spent two and a half days at the Classic Business Solutions offices, in both Columbia SC and Greenville SC. The primary reason for his visit was to work with the CBS sales team to give them a deeper understanding of the Intec brand and the ‘go to market’ for the CP3000 series and CS4000 series machines. During that time Mike and the team also made sales calls by appointment and cold calls. This generated a good number of strong leads, many of which, look very likely to convert in to sales.

The CBS team was left with a greater understanding of not only the Intec printing systems, but also Intec as a company. As a result of their enthusiasm for our product line it was agreed they would hold an open

house event next month with a view to extending their customer base with the Intec offering. For more information visit their website: http://www.classicbizsolutions.com/

Intec support continues to ‘make a difference’

Intec is pleased to be able to report very good progress on the works carried out by our chosen charity, ‘International Needs’, who are building a maternity unit in, and supporting the community of, Burkina Faso.

Extract of a letter from the charity’s National Director.

The 11-strong International Needs team, giving ‘on the ground’ help, in Burkina Faso

“Dear Friends and Supporters at Intec. Thank you for your continued support for International Needs and our projects in Burkina Faso. I wanted to send you a personal email as we recently came back from a trip to Burkina Faso, to oversee the initial stages of the new maternity unit build. We took 11 people to Burkina, all with various skills in helping and assisting the team on the ground, as well as learn from the project about the impact that the school and the medical centre are having with families, as they get more help and assistance through the International Needs team in Burkina.

Good building progress

The maternity unit build is happening quickly and we were pleased with the progress. Some of us got the chance to help out the builders and work with them as they made their own bricks on site and wove the reinforced steel rods together that sit inside the structure. If we can continue the fund-raising at the same speed, we will have a completed building before the end of the year. The growth in numbers of babies born over 2015 proved the necessity of this new unit. The project needs another £29,000 for the building and then £15,800 for the equipment. The schools work continues well and we saw the new primary classes of 5 to 11 year olds. The children all welcomed us into the school and sang us a song.

Great progress at the maternity unit, financial support helping ‘make a difference’

We were made to feel very special and the interaction with the children in the school made many strong memories.

The local community

In addition to seeing the children in the school, we were able to visit the families in their own homes. This part of the trip for me was the most humbling, seeing first-hand, the daily struggles that families contend with; fetching water from a well 7km away and bringing it back for the family to use, struggling with water-borne disease as the sanitation and sewer systems are non existent. The yearly struggle against Malaria is very hard on families especially the very young who will be so much more vulnerable to the parasites. Gastro intestinal problems and Malaria make up 75% of all treatments at the medical centre and the average resident will suffer at least one or two times a year from Malaria.

YOU NK IN THAM AK G A FOR

For the members of the team that sponsor children, the experience of meeting their sponsored child face to face and also to meet their families was incredible. The families were so grateful to the sponsors and each sponsor was able to see first hand the impact of their sponsorship. All the sponsored children in Burkina through I.N. will get their school fees paid, creating opportunities for the children to develop and then access to the medical centre and a doctor if they are sick. This is helping the whole family not just the individual child as education creates opportunities and the medical care can reduce the suffering from simple childhood diseases. Thank you again, for the financial support you and your customers give, your prayers and your encouragement.”
