welcome, and congratulations Nestled on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, the storybook village of Aurora has been brilliantly restored to its nineteenth-century glory. Ancient trees dot green lawns that gently roll down to the lake, and the sun sets each evening over the water with glorious rays of pink and orange. It is a grand yet charming village, at once both elegant and relaxed — a place where visitors from near and far gather for their most important days and make meaningful memories. We invite you to be a part of it.

di n ner In Aurora, food is never an afterthought. Our chefs have been honored by the famed James Beard House, and Wine Spectator has recognized us with awards of excellence. Yet what really drives us is a passion for the farmland that surrounds us and the seasonal bounty it provides. We believe that respect for ingredients, for farmers, and for our shared environment is the foundation for a memorable meal.

Our flagship property, this historic federal gem features ten guestrooms.

Built in 1833, the Aurora Inn has long been the resting place for travelers to the storied Finger Lakes region. The Inn originally served as a stage coach stop for passengers on the Wells Fargo Express, founded by Henry Wells, a visionary entrepreneur who also founded Wells College here in Aurora. Today, the Inn’s ten gracious guestrooms are true to their nineteenth century origins, yet meticulously re-envisioned for comfort and convenience. Many feature fireplaces for a cozy winter retreat. Others have private porches with swings and rockers that overlook beautiful Cayuga Lake and the vineyards on its western shore.

Morgan House features elegant appointments within the dramatic beauty of an historic stone mansion. It offers seven large, sunny guestrooms, many with original fireplaces, an exceptional collection of modern art, and an innkeeper who sees to every need. Guests are invited to enjoy E.B. Morgan House as they would a private home with the comforts of its library, parlor, dining room, and generous porches overlooking the lake and rolling lawns.
