Man held for duping innocent girls Hyderabad, April 30: The Cyber Crime Police of Central Crime Station (Detective Department) arrested a person who allegedly spoiled the lives of eight innocent girls. According to police, the accused, 28-year-old Motaparthy Vamshi Krishna of Boraband and a native of West Godavari district, registered with matrimonial sites and exploited the innocent girls with the promise of marriage. He used to impress the girls and their families by visiting them in high end vehicles like Innova, Scorpio or Toyota. Vamshi Krishna used to tell the victims that his father resides abroad and he will marry after his return to India. Once they believed
him, he started exploiting them by taking money from them on some or other pretexts. He used to continue exploitation till they get doubt. Once they got doubt on him, immediately he used to remove the SIM cards and escapes without leaving any address behind. Police said that he was arrested in a case lodged by the mother of the victim, wherein he has cheated that family by the above said tricks and took Rs.6.10 lakh from them. Mayor reviews development works in Ahmednagar division Hyderabad, April 30: GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain along with Zonal Commissioner (Central) and Chief Engineer, held a review meeting with regard to various civic related issues pertaining to Ahmed Nagar division in his chambers here on Tuesday. The Mayor said that last year Rs. 3.5 crore worth of works were taken up and almost all the works have been completed. Of 59 works that were taken up last year, only six works are yet to be started while the rest are nearing completion. Sensex hits six-week high; rises 117 points Mumbai: The BSE benchmark Sensex on Tuesday rose 117 points to close at a six-week high of 19,504.18 on funds buying in bluechips led by FMCG stocks such as Hindustan Unilever after its parent company Unilever Plc announces open offer to hike stake in its Indian arm to 75 percent. The Sensex rose by 116.68 points, or 0.60 percent, to 19,504.18, a level last seen on March 15. The index had gained 101 points in the previous session. The gauge had touched the day's high of 19,622.68 and a low of 19,317.38 as investors continued to shift their portfolios in fundamentally strong stocks. Similarly, the National Stock
Exchange index shuttled between 5,962.30 and 5,867.80 before ending with a gain of 26.10 points, or 0.44 percent, to 5,930.20. The stock of Hindustan Unilever remained a star performer by surging 17.28 percent to Rs 583.60 after Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant Unilever Plc said it will spend USD 5.4 billion (over Rs 29,380 crore) to hike stake in its Indian arm to 75 percent through an open offer. "...We would definitely be in talks with them, we would like to do more and more business with them. So as far as we are concerned... they are very credible customer, so we would definitely be in touch with them," Bharti Infratel Vice Chairman and Managing Director Akhil Gupta told reporters here. He was replying to a question if Bharti Infratel is in talks with Reliance Jio Infocomm for tower sharing. Last week, energy-
focused RIL took a step closer to launching 4G telecom services with a deal to lease undersea cable capacity from Bharti Airtel. Gupta, however, added no contract is being signed at the moment. "As a tower company, its my job to go to every operator, existing as well as prospective," he added. Reliance Jio Infocomm will use Bharti's submarine cable network to provide data connectivity across Asia Pacific. After announcing the deal, a joint statement had said that Bharti and Reliance Jio would continue to build on this "strategic framework" and consider other mutual areas of cooperation and development.

Petrol price cut by Rs 3 per litre New Delhi: For the third time in a month, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Tuesday slashed the price of petrol by Rs 3 per litre in line with the decline in international crude oil prices. The new price will come into effect from midnight tonight and petrol prices in Delhi will now cost Rs 63.09 per litre. The price of oil is trading above USD 94 per barrel as positive US economic data added to optimism for a rate cut in Europe. Brent crude, which is used to price oil from the North Sea used by many
US refiners, is also up 24 cents to USD 103.40 on the ICE Futures exchange in London. Petrol price was cut by Re 1 per litre on 15 April. Earlier petrol price was slashed by 85 paise a litre reduction in rates on April 2 and Rs 2 a litre decrease effected on March 16. The March 16 cut after including VAT translated into a Rs 2.40 a litre reduction at pumps. It was the steepest cut in nine months.
Amul hikes milk price by Rs 2/litre

effective from tomorrow. "We have decided to raise the milk price in Delhi-NCR region by Rs 2 per litre. The prices have been hiked after 13 months as input cost have increased," R S Sodhi, the Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which sells milk under Amul brand, told PTI. Sodhi said the prices of full cream milk will now go up to Rs 42 per litre from the current Rs 40 per litre,
while that of toned milk to Rs 32 per litre from Rs 30 per litre and double-toned milk to Rs 28 from Rs 26 per litre. "Our purchase price for milk procured from farmers have increased along with normal inflation in other input cost such as transportation," Sodhi explained. Amul is a leading milk supplier to the national capital region with sales of 2.3 million litre of packaged milk per day. Mother Dairy sells more than 3 million litre per day in Delhi-NCR including packaged and loose (token) milk
through vending machine. Asked about other markets, Sodhi said the prices in Mumbai have already been increased a week-ago. GCMMF posted a turnover of Rs 11,668 crore in 2011-12 fiscal, which was 20 per cent higher than Rs 9,775 crore in the previous fiscal. GCMMF, which is based at Anand in Gujarat, processed 14.5 million litres of milk per day in 2011-12 and has planned to increase the processing capacity to 18 million litres a day by 2018 to meet future demands.
Traders asked to renew license by June 30 Hyderabad, April 30: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Tuesday asked all the traders in its limits to renew their trade licenses as required under sections 521 & 612 of HMC Act, 1955 for the year 2013-14 in any e-seva Centres/Citizen Service Centers in the GHMC limits. GHMC Commissioner MT Krishna Babu said that the traders who have not taken trade license so far should apply in online or approach the nearest e-seva Centres/Citizen Service Centres in the GHMC Circle offices to apply for fresh trade licenses. The traders have to apply for fresh
license/renewal of their trades by June 30 to avoid 25 per cent penalty for renewal and legal proceedings towards those trades which have not obtained the trade license. To renew the trade license
in between July 1 to August 31, the trader has to pay 25 per cent of the license fee as penalty in addition to the original license fee. To renew the trade license from September 1 onwards, the traders
has to pay 50 per cent of the trade license fee as penalty, in addition to the original trade license fee. Therefore, all traders have been requested to renew their trade licenses before June 30 for the currently financial year to avoid any penalty. "Those who do not renew the trade license or running the trades without obtaining trade license are considered un-licensed trades and the Commissioner GHMC reserves the right to get the premises closed and the goods and articles used for running the said trades are seized as per the HMC Act 1955," he said.
