One Avighna Park Luxury residential landscape Nish Developers Mumbai, India 16,187 Sq.Mt Complete Tropical | Organic | Waterscapes A tropical paradise formed the concept of the podium at a high end residential towers at Mumbai. A play with the levels, foreground-background perceptions and an organic pattern in plantation and movement is experienced across the leisure areas on 2 podiums. The staggered pools with edging of bamboo, palms and grasses, ledge cut granite for curvilinear planters and amenity spaces are the characteristics of the design.

Lodha I-Think IT Park Landscape Lodha Group Thane, India 36,421 Sq.Mt Complete
Organic | Contemporary | Elements The landscape of the 7 acres it park for the Lodha group is a contemporary reection of the inspired natural form of a tree. The shade structure with 3 inverted truncated cones of varying diameters are the focus of the large podium garden containing informal sit-outs and a cafe. The open space design with a maze garden, the organic seating enclosing vegetation, a series of buer plantations is not only a visual relief, but give the users a reason to step out in the open and hangout.

Piramal Vaikunth Landscape masterplan & design in residential township Piramal Estates Pvt Ltd Mumbai, India 1,33,546 Sq.Mt Ongoing Biophelia | Forest | Edge With a motive to conserve, the landscape of Piramal aimed at striking a balance between the human intervention and the existing tree cover. The design created a patterned zonation of activities with the forest, the eco-tone and the paved areas. The ground and the podium promoted values of solitude, interactions, learning, ďŹ tness, brotherhood, luxury and relaxation through landscape.

Nivassa Greens A villa project Nivassa Properties Lonavala, India 19,424 Sq.Mt Complete Holiday home | Nature | Envelope A high-end villa scheme in Lonavla respects the natural site topography towards a cluster that assures a relaxing retreat. With picturesque views outwards, a green mound is designed in the campus camouflaging the clubhouse underneath. An envelope of the greens offers an experience by itself. With the values of a central courtyard, the layout allows for a play of light and shadow, adequate ventilation and a cost and energy conserving initiatives for an efficient microclimate and comfortable user experience.

Realty Mumbai, India 15,378 Sq.Mt Complete Constrains | Effective | Materials Low cost landscape and high-tension lines proved no barrier to beautification of Orchid Suburbia.The site was explored for various cost effective materials and their applications. Natural stone, vitrified tiles, cobble stone, granite, kota, kadappa and others define the landscape of the podium. An enriched walking experience was ensured using shades of green.

V Park A commercial park Ascendas Singbridge Hyderabad, India 80,937 Sq.Mt Ongoing Restructure | Walkability | Outdoor living “Nature contains that spirit and power which we can witness but not weigh and inwardly conceive but not comprehend.� – T. E. Lawrence Restructuring of V-Park - an IT Park at Hyderabad demands a powerful and purposeful intervention of the surrounding natural boulders into the landscape of the corporate space. The landscape design promotes walkability and outdoor living through a multitude of amenities including event plaza, reading niches, work-pods, restaurants, play courts, urban plaza and high street. A gradual transition from the workplace to the outside, that studies and utilises existing natural environment, users movement patterns and occupancy, promises thoughtful open spaces.

Sai Mannat Podium landscape luxury Paradise Group Navi Mumbai, India 13,759 Sq.Mt Complete Luxury | Innovation | Skybridge The large podium terrace reflects a lavish urban living. An elevated skybridge of 505 meters offering views of the adjoining lush greens, the large swimming pool the varied theme gardens and the residential structures is first of its kind in the fastdeveloping town of Kharghar. Designing for high end residences paved way for thoughtful spaces including zodiac gardens, herb garden, Disney children’s play area, multi-play water station, aroma pool motion sculptures and the temple.

Joy Ville An elegant low cost housing Joyville Shapoorji Housing Pvt Ltd Virar, India 28,328 Sq.Mt Ongoing Pilot | Cost eective | Elegance Shaporji, the well established builders have indulged in elegant low cost housing. With ground and podium level open spaces, the concept revolves around universal design and creating a thematic experience in landscape through varied sizes of pockets. The landscape comprises of jogging track, festival courts, decks, pool to name a few.

Amusement Park A community gathering park Sopan Prabhu Architects Navi Mumbai, India 10,926 Sq.Mt Complete Public | Large | Amenities Conceptualised as an amusement park by NMMC, the client brief later changed to a public park catering to the fast growth of the town of Navi Mumbai. The large spaces designed with an aim to promote exibility, are now used by the neighbourhood as congregation plaza, event and festival areas and local sports. A ower maze, an amphitheater, a kids play area with a sand pit and rubber matting, a skating rink add to the amenities that the park provides.

Veena Palghar A Residential Township Veena Developers Palghar, India 25,495 Sq.Mt Ongoing Township | Masterplan | Neighbourhood Designing a landscape masterplan for the 15 acres township at Veena Palghar involved a careful procedure of zoning. It has obeyed the proven town planning standards of green corridors, road layouts, recreation and sports towards an ideal neighbourhood space. With optimum utilisation of spaces for a greener township, the residency comprises of a sports corridor, amphitheatre, open lawns to promote community interactions. It aims to have a sound bio-diversity, energy eďŹƒcient lighting systems and water conservation policies for the user and environment.

Kesar Exotica Landscape in stilts and on podium Kesar Group Navi Mumbai, India 5,665 Sq.Mt Complete Multiutility | Beyond | Interactions The podium surrounding the towers seeked an interaction connection by maximising green spaces. The landscape design starting from the podium travels into the stilts up to the parapet wall beyond. The coconut trees contradict the vast horizontality of the podium, Interactive sculptures & universal usage of each area deďŹ nes the design of the podium.

Mohan Suburbia Mid budget residential township Mohan Group Ambernath, India 20,234 Sq.Mt Complete User | Identity | Elements The residential campus calls for a phase-wise landscape development plan. Each phase adheres to the user proďŹ le and to the gradual expansion needs of the project, hence providing for a myriad of visual and experiential spaces. Landscaping of the central courtyard along with the clubhouse design has helped tie the recreational ideas. The Nakshatra water feature in the form of a cascade obeys the terrain as it takes you through a unique visual and auditory experience.

Second home | Nature | Retain With mango and cashew plantations, a natural water reservoir and a hill-side plateau with waterfalls forming the backdrop, the site at Karjat is a perfect setting for a second home housing. The master planning follows a hexagonal geometry and retains the natural slopes, forest, streams and reservoir. With common amenities surrounding the water body, the bungalows are aligned to give a view of the waterfalls and promote future expansion.

Bird Park A aviary Pan India Pariyatan Mumbai, India 6,070 Sq.Mt Complete Public | Unique | Ecology Bird park at Essel World is India’s first interactive bird park with over 400 exotic birds in a walk-in aviary. Following the principals of inclusive design, retaining existing flora and allowing for a healthy human - nature relationship, the design of the park has been an evolutionary process ensuring a comfortable environment, adaptability and development of a protective niche for the birds. The spatial planning includes a peripheral walk with experiences such as the European cottage, log houses, The Macau arch, a lakelet for aquatic birds, a nature walk, a feeding point, a desert garden, the pheasant’s point and the amphitheatre.

Mahindra F1 A Residential complex Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Ltd Pimpri, India 18,210 Sq.Mt Ongoing Urban | Wellness | Active spaces A good lifestyle demands a healthier living. With wellness as the driving force of the design, the landscape at Mahindra F1 is an amalgamation of the social, intellectual, emotional, physical, environmental and spiritual aspects of human behaviour. The character of spaces is a ďŹ ne patchwork catering to user requirements with designed plantation buers and experiential walks. The project proposes strategies for biodiversity, water, soil and energy conservation leading to cohesive wellness.

Mohan Water Edge A second home township landscape and architectural design Mohan Group Badlapur, India 45,000 Sq.Mt Complete Riverside | Comprehensive Design | Open Spaces A holiday home by the river Ulhas offers the benefit of a large green recreational corridor owing to the 30 meter setback from the water’s edge. Land with natural gradient and close to the flood line, the structures are raised to a stilt where the existing slope and tree cover is largely retained. With a temple, clubhouse, children’s play areas, walking loop, water features; the high-end township is a combination of villas, private and twin bungalows.

Tata Serein A residential complex Tata Housing Thane, India 24,281 Sq.Mt Ongoing Urban | Domesticated landscape | Living Responding to the site that is in close proximity to the National Park, the concept of this residential complex revolves around designing domesticated natural gardens. The design borrows symbolism from the Indian traditions in elements such as the amphitheatre, mural walls, mounds, swimming pools and entrance plaza. It metaphorically brings the adjoining forest in the site by creating an array of owering trees and fruit orchards and it appreciates the natural elements by introduction of strategic pause points for sky gazing, leisure walks, bio-ponds.

UK 27 A four star hotel UK 27 Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd Belgavi, India 4,046 Sq.Mt Ongoing BeautiďŹ cation | Experience | Elements The hotel entrance and the periphery of the star hotel at Belgavi is designed to enhance the experience of the customers. The entrance, driveway, event lawns, paving patterns, customized gazebo, green walls and waterscapes are instrumental in addressing this concept.

Holiday | Forest | Experiential Located in the biodiversity hotspot of Western Ghats, the resort is a vast expanse of undulating terrrain where the cluster stays tied with the landscape. The design carries the principles of appreciating, engaging, protecting, utilising and conserving the existing resources.
