Lucas, a little-known singer from the 1990s, becomes ten years later the king of the new French pop-rock scene by appropriating the songs of his friend Thomas, who has long disappeared. Thomas, however, reappears one day and thus begins five days of hell for Lucas as he tries to hide his immense fame. Lucas decides to let Thomas believe that he is still a ticket controller for the RATP, and that his luxury house and Mercedes car are owned by his goofy friend Francis, an out-of-work mime actor whom Lucas presents as a celebrity.            QUOTES            Bénabar| Actor As a singer, did you recognize yourself in Lucas? No, but I do recognize the problems the singer in the film encounters, the feeling of being an impostor that comes as soon as one gets successful, even if it is for just a moment. If you look around you, when you succeed as a singer, you are actually better paid than a surgeon, which is very troublesome. I always had this feeling... but you get over it very quickly, I can assure you. (...) It is a bit the story of the film: the dishonesty of the singer as he becomes famous through the songs written by another.
