Q&A WHAT IS THE CAPACITY? The Bridge Building Event Spaces can handle events for up to 1000 people. The amount of people per rental package is dependent on the custom set up for your event. CAN I BRING IN AN OUTSIDE CATERER? The In-House Catering provided by Infinity Events & Catering can accommodate any of your catering needs, offering custom menu design and an infinite amount of options. You may use an outside caterer, however, outside caterers will not have any use of the kitchen spaces and will be required to set up within your designated rented area. In addition, an outside catering fee of 20% of your food and beverage cost with a minimum of $3500 will be applied to the total cost of your event. CAN I BRING IN MY OWN ALCOHOL? No. CAN I HAVE MY CEREMONY AT THE BRIDGE BUILDING EVENT SPACES? Yes. We specialize in unique wedding ceremony options. There is a $500 Ceremony Fee as well as a required amount of wedding planning services. CAN I GET MARRIED ON THE SEIGENTHALER PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE? Yes you may get married on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. We will help coordinate any event on the bridge. WHEN CAN I TOUR THE VENUE? Daily by appointment. Originally built in 1908, The Bridge Building Event Spaces served as office space for The Nashville Bridge Company (NABRICO), the world’s largest producer of inland barges. In the 1990s, construction of Nashville’s new NFL stadium required the demolition of virtually all of the East Bank’s industrial facilities. The original 1908 NABRICO building was the only building spared.

Built in 1874, The Bell Tower was one of the first churches built in Nashville by freed slaves after the Civil War. Most of the neighborhood was demolished following World War II, and The Bell Tower is one of the last remaining original structures.

The renovated space maintains much of the building’s history and character. The original beams and downstairs stonework remain, as well as the original sub-flooring, which is comprised of salvaged wood from homes destroyed during the war.

Constructed in 1879, the building at 126 2nd Avenue North is on the National Register of Historic Places and originally served as a warehouse and store for T.M. DeMoss & Sons Hardware and Machinery Wholesalers. The original building had a hydraulic elevator, a water-powered elevator which would rise as a drum filled with water and lower as it drained.
