HomeCare Company Stands Up to Cancer - October Campaign Generates Hope And Plenty Of Pink October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Los Angeles/ South Bay/ Culver City etc. in- home care company, 24Hr HomeCare, launched their 2nd annual breast cancer awareness campaign in order to show it Culver City, Ca (I- Newswire) October 29, 2012 - This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Los Angeles/ South Bay/ Culver City etc. in- home care company, 24Hr HomeCare, launched their 2nd annual breast cancer awareness campaign in order to show its support for the fight against breast cancer. They will be donating proceeds from the campaign to the American Cancer Society at the end of October which will support breast cancer research. Taking a page out of the NFL's Pink campaign, this community- supporter will also don a new color uniform in honor of the strong women and men that endure breast cancer. 24Hr HomeCare's The Power of Pink campaign will include different aspects of fundraising, all centering on one main goal - to support breast cancer awareness. Traditionally, employees of 24Hr HomeCare sport light blue polo shirts as part of the uniform, which are well known around the community. For the month of October, in order to publically support women and men in their battle with breast cancer, they will trade in their blue polos for pink ones. Keep an eye out for the employees' new look! Since 24Hr HomeCare is a strong community supporter and has participated in many fundraisers in the past, they have found a way to put their new polos to good use. Anytime a 24Hr HomeCare employee is asked why they are wearing pink shirts, 24Hr HomeCare will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society. Also, they will donate 3% of the gross proceeds of all new clients in the month of October to the American Cancer Society. Last year, 24Hr HomeCare was able to donate over $1,500 to the cause, and this year they are expecting to increase the donations. There are many members of the team who have been greatly affected by breast cancer, whether it is loved ones or friends. This campaign holds a special place in everyone's hearts.
