Time Travel with Robert Mallett

Don’t be late for this intriguing discussion of time travel by Robert Mallett, University of Connecticut physicist and star of the 2003 BBC documentary “The World’s First Time Machine.” Mallett, who specializes in particle and field theory, became interested in time travel as a child. After his father died of a heart attack, he wished to go back to his childhood to prevent it. His memoir, “Time Travel: A Scientist’s Personal Mission to Make Time Travel a Reality,” is to be adapted into a film by Spike Lee. The talk is part of Butler’s 201213 Woods Series.
