Hey Sixers! This will probably be my last letter to you in a newsletter so let’s try to make this meaningful. Thank you for all you have this done year! You all have done an amazing job with all of the community service that you do! I am going to miss serving all of you! ANYWAYS! Seniors: It has been an amazing year with all of you! I don’t know what the club would be like without all of your fun, energetic spirit! Good luck in college and never forget to visit! Don’t forget your passion for service either! Juniors: We have one year left! Let’s make the most out of it! Good luck on SATs and AP testing! We got this! We are almost done with our junior year!! Sophomores: Great ready for one of the hardest years of your life, but it might also be the funnest! Freshman: I know freshman year was easy, but I wish you the best of luck during sophomore year! Key Clubbers from Independence High School walked the March of Dimes to help raise money and awareness to help thousands of babies all across the world!
Key Clubbers from 9 different schools in Fremont, Milpitas, and San Jose got together to hold our monthly division council meeting led by our LTG Austin Quach! We also got the chance to pie him, and other volunteers for one dollar for Pediatric Trauma Prevention
On April 23rd, the 2012-2013 Officer were officially retired. We celebrated a year of great success! And we could not have done it without the motivation of all of you! Even though we are retired we are never far away! Whether it be an email or a phone call, we will always be here for you!
Color Run When: Saturday, May 18 Time: 9am-? 7th Annual Spring Fling Community Festival When: May 10th Time: 3:30- 8 p.m Where: 4178 Lick Mill Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95054 What: Working in the Kid Zone where we will regulate carnival games, game booths, jump houses, crafts, and dunk tank. *Free Shirt! *Must be at least 13! Salvation Army Drive Where: Independence High School! When: May 11th, 2013 What: Bring clothes, furniture, tv's, mattresses, and any "E" waste to school to benefit the local Salvation Army Adult Recovery Center. (Center has 100+ beds and the beneficiaries are housed 24-7 for a period of 6 months.) *hours will be given based on what you bring, so talk to Jessica! Contact: Jessica Yu (email@example.com)
