Principle 5 | Partnership: We will interact with managers of business corporations to extend our knowledge of their challenges in meeting social and environmental responsibilities and to explore jointly effective approaches to meeting these challenges. Principle 6 | Dialogue: We will facilitate and support dialog and debate among educators, students, business, government, consumers, media, civil society organizations and other interested groups and stakeholders on critical issues related to global social responsibility and sustainability. To achieve this objective of PRME, we have launched “Center for Sustainability: Kalpvruksh” at ISBS, a beginning of an ecosystem of responsible management students at ISBS

CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY “Asatama sadgamaya Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya, mrtyorma amritam gamaya” “Lead us from unreal to Real, lead us from darkness to the light. Lead us from the fear of death, to the knowledge of Immortality”. With the above prayer in our hearts and adhering to healthy initiative of the Ministry of Ayush, Indira School of Business st Studies (ISBS) celebrated the Yoga Day on 21 June2017 in ISBS. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of ISBS were present and participated in the Yoga day celebrations at the ISBS campus. Specially designed Yoga T- shirts were provided to the participants. Group Director and Director- ISBS shared their views on International Yoga day and benefits of Yoga. Dr. Renu Bhargava, Director -ISBS shared secrets about fitness, stress free and healthy way of life. A Quiz competition was conducted after the Yoga session amongst the different group members. The effort of everyone who participated was appreciated towards the Yoga day celebration. It was indeed one of many memorable successful events at ISBS.

ISBS Convocation: Batch 2015 -17 st

Indira School of Business Studies organised Convocation Ceremony for PGDM Students of Batch 2015-17 on 1 March 2018. The students were honoured to receive their diploma certificates at the hands of Union Minister of States for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Ramdas Athawale who stressed on the role of Indian youth to create innovative sustainable solutions for their nation. Dr. Tarita Shankar, Chairperson IGI and Prof Chetan Wakalkar, Group Director IGI, proudly hosted the convocation ceremony and urged their students to emulate progressive leaders such as Mr. Athawale, in creating value for the nation and stimulating economic growth.
