Approximately 20,000 labor and master craftsmen from different parts of the world – Turkey, Iran, Persia, Italy and France worked on its construction and designing and their names were kept for record for future generations on parchments. Isa Muhammad Effendi and Ustad Isa were both the Persian architects trained by Koca Mimar Sinan Agha, a famous architect from Ottoman are credited for designing as well as constructing the Taj Mahal. Shah Jahan was ousted by his own son Aurangzeb after the completion of Taj Mahal and he was kept under house arrest somewhere near Agra Fort. Even Shah Jahan was buried in Taj Mahal with his wife.
