CHICAGO: A recently set up no profit organization of Indian Americans, the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) of Chicago, is living up to its tradition of hosting India Day Parade second year in succession in suburb of Chicago. FIA is an umbrella organization of all Indian associations in the Chicago land and Midwest area for the Indian community. It represents over 150,000 culturally diverse but united individuals and families as Asian Indians and a part of the bigger American picture. The FIA Chicago represents and connects various issues of the growing AsianIndian community at the local, State, and national platform, within USA and overseas with the Indian Government.
