BESPOKE ELECTRIC SHADES

How it Works Indian Ocean Bespoke Electric Shades are a complete outdoor solution; with our innovative patented design we will create the perfect space to suit all your needs.

Rain protection: When closed the blades of the Electric Shade provide a rainproof shelter. The water is drained away through integrated channels in the frame. The blades are designed in such a way that the water is drained off to the side even if the blades are opened shortly after it rains.

Sun protection: The blades provide sun protection whilst still allowing ventilation. This is especially useful when side elements are included, allowing you to open the blades to allow air flow whilst still providing shade. Orientate the blades towards or away from the sun for more/less sun protection.

Letting light in: The blades rotate 150ยบ allowing you to let light in when you want it. This is essential if your shade is attached to or near your property. Orientate the blades towards the sun to let more light in. 1

Patented blades drain water away through columns.

Our easiest and simplest accessory are the specialised fibreglass fabric screens. The screens are integrated into the roof making them invisible when open. Using your remote control they can be brought down to any height providing shade as you need it. With an innovative zipper system down the sides, the fabric is wind tight and when fully closed, is insect-proof. It also provides shelter from rain falling at steep angles.

To assure a smooth integration, some size restrictions are necessary.

Maintenance: The system requires little maintenance but we do advise the following to ensure many years of enjoyment. Use lukewarm water and a gentle (non corrosive) product to clean the shade. Avoid scourers or abrasive cleaning materials. Fabric screens can be vacuumed or lightly brushed to remove loose dirt. For crystal windows use lukewarm water only. Fabric screens can be raised when wet, however, we recommend lowering the screen later to allow it to dry (no more than 2-3 days). Hinges and moving parts should be lubricated annually. 20
