RUST India Club to come with a surprise like no other. Members and their spouses who turned up on March 23 for the annual MNC Gala Dinner had a pleasant surprise when they were greeted by a Strolling Table Lady who served them welcome drinks. It was a one-of-a-kind experience and a show stopper too but as the evening wore on there were other shop-stoppers too, including the scintillating performance by the superstar of the Great Indian Laughter Challenge Fame and Sa Re Ga Ma Fame who has also been a playback singer in movies, The Kapil Sharma showVidyavati. The lady who had everyone in slits is well-known for her Lata Ji special act. Apart from being an ace comedian she is also a well-trained classical singer and the only female in India who does musical comedy. The multi-faceted actor, singer, comedian and anchor, Sugandha Mishra, together with her live band, rocked the evening with her mimicry and musical comedy which left the audience craving for more. The performance which was scheduled for 90 minutes went on for over two and half hours with Sugandha taking a short break once! Once Sugandha Mishra ended her popular show, there was more. It was quickly followed, by the Colombian and Broadway dancers who danced to unique variations of Colombian/Latin /Samba and Flamingo dances.The brilliantly executed dances and the foot-tapping music had the crowd clapping for more. It was a mesmerizing performance and one that won’t be easily forgotten. The sumptuous spread at the foodcourt added to the complete satisfaction of an evening well spent. www.indiaclubdubai.com
