Baisakhi Punjabis can trace their identity to a land of gaiety and merrymaking that is full to the brim with the advent of festivals like “Baisakhi” when bumper crops bring happiness and prosperity to the land and the people. “BAISAKHI NITE 2014”, the Punjabi festival of harvest, was ushered in at India Club on Thursday, 17th April ‘14 with all the trappings of joy and splendour as revelers were treated to top class entertainment by the MEET BROTHERS (with Manmeet Singh Chandoke & Harmeet Singh Chandoke). MEET Brothers was backed by their Female Singer Khusboo Grewal and a six piece live band flown in from India. The event was open to India Club Members and Members’ Guests. The food courts served Punjabi Specialities like Sarsoon da Saag, Makhai di Roti, Lassi, etc. The event was supported by Rainbow Milk, 106.2 Hum FM, Rolla Residence Hotel Apartments, Al Dobowi, E Tutor Home.com, Prime Vision Studio and Car Fare-Rent-A-Car.
