Description of the Activity Background: Along with the times, there is also a paradigm shift regarding the duties of a pharmacist who formerly was a product orientation to patient orientation. Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Padjadjaran is one of the faculty of pharmacy in

Indonesia who still have a curriculum that studies all aspects of professionalism such as hospital pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical communities. all the skills learned by students of Faculty of Pharmacy Padjadjaran University from first year to last year of studies. In connection with the deepening of the duties of a pharmacist such professionalism, it is deemed important to have felt a deeper understanding of the importance of a skill to be a pharmacist who can deliver the drug information and how to use drugs that either fit the disease is diagnosed by a doctor. Aims:  To provide information and knowledge about drug counseling to patients  To train pharmacy students of Keluarga Mahasiswa Farmasi Universitas Padjadjaran provide good counseling to patients Methods and Used Tools / Materials:  Seminar, simulation of patient counseling from pharmacist, and patient counseling contest Results: This event has been extremely successful. Begins the first day on the 13th of May 2012, held a seminar on counseling to patients given by Mrs. Keri Lestari Dandan, one of our senior lecturer in the faculty of pharmacy Padjadjaran University. And alsp the second material on the public speaking given by Ms. Sofa Dewi A, one of the students who are on a course of study at the faculty of pharmacy Padjadjaran University. This event was attended by 40 participants from the class of 2011, 2010, 2009, and 2008. Then continued on the second day, with the holding of patient counseling competition. This event was successful, followed by 20 participants and conducted a drug counseling simulations, played well by the patient (probandus). Participants were then assessed by the lecturer assessor and the results obtained winners were: A. Dinar Azzahra 2009 2. Jossi Meika 2009 3. Comments and/or Ideas Arising From the Activity we expected that this event can enhance the ability of a pharmacist to provide medication counseling to patients both in hospitals and pharmacies.
