If you have a CNA working with you, consider yourself a fortunate nurse. It’s estimated that at least one fourth of all hospitals do not offer CNAs to work with most nurses. A CNA is there to assist the nurse, and mainly perform tasks that they are legally allowed to perform without the assistance of a nurse. A CNA’s job is essentially to free up the nurse’s time for more clinical responsibilities.
