Oxford and Oxfordshire were top of the 2017 Demos-PwC Good Growth for Cities Index and the 2018 Arcadis ‘Investing in Britain’ report named Oxford as the 2nd best city in the UK for Growth Potential. As Oxfordshire’s leading business networking community, B4 aims to play a key role in this growth. We’re working towards building B4 as the platform for business to business communication and profile raising in Oxfordshire and by co-ordinating through B4, we not only believe that Oxfordshire has a bright future, but that we can show the rest of the world that businesses in Oxfordshire are united in their vision to be ‘World Class and Connected’.   On Wednesday 23rd May at BIO2018, we will be presenting ‘Oxford & Oxfordshire - World Class and Connected’, a promotional video supported by an online report designed to get our message across ‘support B4 and Oxfordshire’s growth’. We want to demonstrate not only the diversity of organisations committed to B4 but also the extent of their commitment and how this joined up approach to doing business in our county is helping to drive growth for the future.   This document outlines B4’s 15 point programme to link businesses and organisations in Oxfordshire and provide

even more opportunities for profile raising, development and growth. We also want to give our members a voice, an opportunity to co-ordinate opinion to ensure that Oxfordshire grows, as much as possible, in a way which serves the majority of businesses with the maximum benefits. In short, B4 aims to facilitate joined up thinking and to present Oxfordshire to the rest of the world as an attractive investment proposition, mindful of the very clear challenges that our county faces in maintaining its position as one of the country’s leading economies.

Target 100 We’re here to help Oxfordshire grow and we want you to join us. We are targeting an initial 100 B4 members to commit to B4 for three years. Our next target is a total of 250 members committed to B4’s vision for a connected Oxfordshire before the end of 2018 and 500 by the end of 2019. The ultimate target is to have 1,000 B4 members committed to B4 on a three year basis by 2020. Are you in? Richard Rosser CEO, B4 www.b4-business.com 5
