Instituto Marquês de Valle Flôr (IMVF) is a Portuguese NGDO founded in August 1951 with the purpose of promoting the scientific, socioeconomic and cultural development in the 8 Portuguese speaking-countries. The main areas of activities are Development Education, Cooperation and Emergency Aid. IMVF’s projects are co-financed by the European Commission, Portuguese Institute for Development Support (IPAD), Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, World Bank and United Nations Programmes.
